Yup.

This idea that we cant afford either of these CBs and that there is someone internally sabotaging the signings is worse than listening to the nonsense spouted by most 'ITKs'.

Football deals are complex, as many have pointed out there are 4 parties involved.... Buying club, selling club, player agent and player. The idea that every single transfer that we attempt that doesn't pan out within 2 days of being in the news is somehow 'criminal', 'sabotage' etc is very short-sighted. There could be so, so many reasons why a transfer might take a few weeks to complete......

My god, it’s only when you see the squad laid out like that you can see in plain sight what an unruly mess it really is…
There are so many players there that have had more than enough chances and should be no where near the club anymore.

Then there isn’t nearly enough new players there to bed in to a new manager’s philosophy etc.

It’s just a mess. I don’t envy the job Postecoglu has in the slightest.

We don't know that Ange will definitely be playing all 31 players.

Maybe he's hedging his bets just in case we don't get any players thought he door and he may need the 'deadwood' to stick around for example

I don't think there's anything negative in taking them along TBH as long as the player who need to leave aren't here come the end of August..
