im hoping richarlison has a stormer this coming season

the conspiracy theory could suggest that the reason he agreed to sign was that he knew all along kane was leaving and that he would be his replacement lol

Not in the mood to argue with you, pal...but you calling somebody else arrogant and a cunt, man that takes the biscuit 🤣🤣🤣🤣

You & I probably won't ever see things the same way, and I still am not impressed by that whole episode when you labeled me a racist/unconscious bias...especially as you never acknowledged it nor apologized...but anyway. Point is, I wouldn't foul vote you or anyone else from your side of the argument just because we have a different view on all things ENIC.

Those who foul voted Deuterz Deuterz for his anti-ENIC position aren't worthy of posting here. Get out of the kitchen if you can't handle the heat kinda thing
You say you’re not interested in arguing and then you post that. I don’t know why you’re coming for me when I have nothing to do with his banning. You’re just trying to play the victim on behalf of someone else. Same as Tottenham Massive Tottenham Massive . However unlike you, I won’t be complaining in 2 months that you falsely accused me of being involved…

Please understand this simple fact: no one gets binned just because they get foul voted. Admin then has to decide whether there was a breach of the rules. So your silly argument comes down to an accusation that admin would ban someone for being anti-ENIC which is completely ridiculous. Just accept you don’t know what happened and you’ll get to play with your friend in a couple of days.

Anyway - I’m happy with how the transfer market has played out so far. This preseason trip should be a great time for the players to gel. Getting a first choice centreback in would help to calm a lot of nerves on here.

There is no way in hell that we are spending 80 -120 million on a single player this window.
Agreed, you'd like to think that we've learnt our lesson on that front.

I think the only time a club can justify paying that sort of money for a player is when they're absolutely world class and ready-made.

An upgrade on Dier and Sanchez yes. My preference as I have stated would be Guehi and another proven Prem performer, Tosin perhaps.

It’s called an opinion, they will differ from yours sometimes - try not to get me banned because of it please
A difference of opinion is normal and to be expected. What always astounds me is the fact that some people are so 100% convinced that player X or Y is completely the right or wrong player for us.

No iffs, no buts, they are wrong, they are right.

And this is from both sides of the argument.

I'll trust the coaches to get the best out of whoever they have to work with and feel more confident this year that we will have a more joined up approach.

What happens during the transfer window is when we're linked to a player fans normally get used to the idea of said player playing for us, even though they've never seen them play or didn't even think about the club signing them before they were linked, but once they're linked will go hell and leather in backing them and backing the club to sign them only when the club don't sign them the same people go into complete meltdown.

I don’t think it’s as clear cut as that (yet), but there’s certainly a whiff of quid pro quo about it.

Saudi Arabia are clearly in the process of setting up a super league. In the next couple of years, their league will begin to be actively marketed in Europe and the US, just like LIV golf. We’ll then have a power struggle between SA and UEFA, with the former winning, as money always does.

They are diversifying their wealth from Oil to owning assets like football clubs and players. Their ideal plan would be to keep that money in Saudi via pumping their own league but if that doean't work they are hedged into Euro clubs.

Is there any reason aside from pure supposition from people who know literally nothing of any substance about the situation why we feel like the Tapsoba deal is dependent on the Diaby one?

Because a 50m sale for a Bundesliga club can fund their entire transfer window.

So they have less pressure or need to sell any further stars, especially when Tapsoba has 3 years on his deal.

Taposoba was always the expensive "we tried" deal of the summer but if they sell Diaby, we will then hear the excuse about "goal posts moving" or Leverkusen asking for an unreasonable amount.

Yeah, nothing could go wrong paying 80 million for a young, trendy Portuguese player with a total of 64 senior team appearances for Benfica.
