It really does feel more and more like one of VDV/Tapsoba plus cheap option. We need both really. Two monsters at the back could be a game changer for us.
No reason not to get both if there is Kane money.

No, it doesn't upset me at all that some are remaining positive, despite the context. I'm open-minded, you should try it sometimes. So it upsets you that people are trying to be positive instead of harping on the negatives over and over and over again?
Edit: Keep stalking me Joan ‘Daniel Levy’ Thomas. Cry more. Dish out as many disagrees as you like - you’ll never be a spurs fan

Still not the most ethical thing we've ever done, but that's just my opinionWe didn't rip off Shakhtar, they got their compensation, mostly from FIFA.
I'm giving an opinion you do not agree with = I obviously got an agenda. There’s a difference between being negative while stating facts and being negative while exaggerating most of your complaints.
Kulusevski is big, big money? 25m? Porro we had no choice on. The fuck up was in January.
Whining about no one having ange in the top 5 doesn’t make him a bad choice. Whining about Solomon being free and ripping off shaktar like it’s a bad thing.
CB and being unable to move in deadwood are the only legitimate problems you mentioned. Your post adds little value because 60% of it is purposefully being negative and having an agenda.
Yh I get the general point but from VDV perspective I wouldn't be surprised if he told us to fuck off. It's not couple of weeks negotiating it's couple of weeks waiting to see if the club brings in someone else after your all agreed. It's a piss take.I think professional footballers are aware of how transfers work and don't lose their shit over a couple of weeks of negotiation. Or maybe he's in this very thread cursing Levy out and telling him to pull the trigger already.
Thank you for your grown-up approach, pal. I mean that. Quite a few on here should take a page out of your book...but so much easier to make it personal, throw insults, say you got an agenda and all that bollocks. If you don't follow the party line, you get shit, I get it...I'll still stand by my opinions. It's not mutually exclusive mate. You can be happy with the signings to date, but unhappy with the fact we don't have at least one CB yet.
Personally, I'm not happy that VDV at least isn't done, I'm not seeing any valid reason why that hasn't happened yet.
But then I don't place the same importance on them attending the preseason tour as others do, so I'm a bit more chilled at the situation. Neither do I put any stock in Twitter rumours. About the only twitter's that I take any note of are the 'here we go' tweets.
The time for anger is at the end of the window, if anger is indeed merited. For me, the anger will only be merited if we don't address the areas of need. At this point in time it's the 2 CB positions, and possibly a striker should Kane leave. If we achieve that then it's all about how we start.
Yeah 5 out of 10 window so far.
It'd just make him feel better if we choose him, and if we don't it doesn't really matter.Yh I get the general point but from VDV perspective I wouldn't be surprised if he told us to fuck off. Heard all this bollocks before with Rice and Timber and whoever else.
If Gvardiol goes to Man City you'll just think of another transfer.
The goal posts are always moving.
No one gives a monkeys about those signings. They care about why we haven't signed a CB.
You do know positive people can - on occasions - express negative (or not ecstatic) thoughts? And that it's totally fine?Negative people aren't bad people. They're just an absolute fucking ballache to be around and listen to all the time.
I'm pleased with our signings so far.
All last season everyone wanted more creativity - we've signed Maddison.
All last season everyone bemoaned or keeper situation - we've signed Vicario.
All last season, and before that, everyone hated the defensive football - we've hired a head coach synonymous with attacking football.
I think we'll see the dead wood leave slowly as Ange sees more and more of the players. Slowly but surely he'll give the chop to those he doesn't like.
We do need CBs though but they'll come.
The specific claim was that we need to “act like a big club”. But big clubs run into exactly the same problems. So that is a ridiculous thing to say.Heard all this bollocks before with Rice and Timber and whoever else.

Yeah 5 out of 10 window so far.
Only my opinion, but I'll go and take my spot in front of the wall, waiting for the firing squad.
Voice of reason. Could not agree more.Negative people aren't bad people. They're just an absolute fucking ballache to be around and listen to all the time.

Of course it will matter. It's an opportunity to play in the Premier League, likely more then double or even treble his wage. Play for one of the biggest clubs in the world. It'd just make him feel better if he choose him, and if we don't it doesn't really matter.
Wasn't having a go at you tbf. Was even sticking up for the Negative Norrises and Nancy's.You do know positive people can - on occasions - express negative (or not ecstatic) thoughts? And that it's totally fine?
I posted MY opinion on our TW so far and it wasn't all dark, but obviously cause I didn't go all singing & dancing, suddenly I'm the new MattNumbers.
At least I dare speak my mind. How many on here just play the game cause they're too scared of being hunted down by the TFC's version of Isis...

Sarcasm not your major then?Overly dramatic a bit eh. While calling others "Drama Queen"
Oh no some strangers on a forum didn't like my posts.
Up against the wall for the firing squad.
"Look at me! Look at me! I'm such a victim"

I agree, 5 out of 10 so far and I am optimistic we will have CB purchases still. The way you wrote your post you sounded a lot more doom and gloom.Yeah 5 out of 10 window so far.
