I disagree that they will not put in any more than just enough to protect the value of their investment.
23 years of zero investment says otherwise

If they want to grow their investment they will need to be successful on the pitch too. That's what will grow commercial and TV revenue, which in turn will increase the value of the club.
Yes, everyone knows this apart from them.

They aren’t exactly living on the dole ffs. That cunt Lewis could easily rustle up 0.5BN, sell another investment if cash flow is an issue and direct it to grow value in their major investment
Spending a shitload on players is a risky way to grow an investment. Having a proper structure a la Brighton and Brentford with the financial muscle we currently have, on the other hand, can get us the results we want and grow the investment.

All of you are focusing on the amount of spending. What you should be focusing on is smart spending.

I'm sure they've also made money though hollywood accounting, and things like the club buying various services exclusively from Levy/Lewis owned companies (at above market rate). IIRC, the club's catering provider is owned by Levy.

Levy not connected with caterers apparently

Zero investment? Really? The spending on players and salaries in the past 4 years begs to differ.

Again you are so blinkered that you are focusing on the wrong thing. It's not how much we spend; it's how we spend it. Focus on the latter and pretty much everyone will agree with you.

This is the kind of shit that drives me mad.
It’s provided by Levy’s restaurants.
Levy’s restaurants is not owned by Daniel Levy, our CEO, or even Eugene Levy, the actor, but by a completely independent operation (based in Chicago? ). Assuming any connection between unrelated Levys is going to put you in pretty murky conspiratorial waters.

You are over rating them for this season.

Rice is good but the rapist was the best in the league when he was fit. Their collapse happened when his injuries and form dropped at the end of the season.

Timber is small and a bit soft.

Havertz makes them worse and they have to play him.

They aren't going anywhere but lot of other teams will catch them up.
Disagree. Not going to get into details but Rice is much more than Partey was. Derogatory terms suxh as the one you used are disgusting in my opinion.

Rice adds something. How much more we will see. I know nothing of Woody, but I do think Havertz potentially could be a real asset to them.

Despite above, my concern is us. We need 3/4 players if we keep Kane. 6/7 if he goes.
