He has a Wife you know...I've got a very good friend named Vishnu, are you telling me his name sounds funny to you?
Isn't that essentially the sentiment the likes ofRichard Arlison were getting abuse for?
How does any player get prem proven if clubs only sign prem proven players?

I'd be more concerned about them going for Tapsoba tbh, if they're getting 100m euros for Gvardiol off City they will likely make a statement of intent with their replacement, Red Bull aren't averse to spending big when they need to. VDV is a speculative signing for both us and them, Tapsoba is proven quality.I mean, I do agree that faffing around on VDV could be costly now that RBL are flush.
They are exactly the kind of club his agents love too.
Modus operandi for them is to move their best players every 2-3 years. They may well see RBL as a better bet than Levy who is a pain in the arse to move a player if they perform well.
I know you like to try to catch people out on a technicality. I don't remember if it was you specifically or LeParisien, or the goat fella or ionman or whoever.Specifically? Not so far as I recall.....
I remember he & I bickering about whether of not our interest is merely for show.... Maybe you have someone else in mind?
Tottenham reject ‘official offer’ to sign 26-year-old – €8m seen as nowhere near enough (ndombele)
sports witness
according to Turkish journalist Ertan Süzgün, who took to Twitter to state the Süper Lig winners have taken further steps to sign the Tottenham player.
He claims Galatasaray have made an ‘official offer’ of €8m for the Frenchman and want to pay this fee in four instalments. However, Ange Postecoglou’s side have ‘not accepted’ this proposal.
He's better than Skippberg in the double #8 role.
His only competition is Ndombele who will not play 90min every week.
Tier 1 - Bissouma, Bentancur
Tier 2 - Sarr, Ndombele, Gio
Bottom Tier - Skip, Hojbjerg
...but who will shiv the glaziers
What a pathetic comment.
I don't remember if it was you specifically or LeParisien, or the goat fella or ionman or whoever.
Over the last few days there's just a faction consisting of you and these posters trying to police "the melters", as well others like myself and Jaynola, for being overly concerned about the lack of a CB signing so far.
I do remember clearly it wasRichard Arlison pointing out specifically this risk, that some other club would swoop in and take VDV/Tapsoba, leaving us hanging, and getting a lot of pushback from some posters.
No one is policing melters.Over the last few days there's just a faction consisting of you and these posters trying to police "the melters", as well others like myself and Jaynola, for being overly concerned about the lack of a CB signing so far.
They have essentially traded Rapey for Rice, then added a small dutch CB and a malnourished chelsea reject.
The quicker you come to grips with the fact that ENIC is not a mega rich football fan with billions burning a hole in his pocket getting to live his dream of owning his boyhood club, the quicker you will start focusing on what is realistic. That’s the clubs money that we’ve spent. Zero owner investment
I’m aligned with spending better, I agree that’s key but freeing up some personal equity will also help. After 23 years of only spending what the club earns, often badly. we need both investment and better spending
How I read it:I don’t have context here, but it looks like Levy will offer less if his offer is rejected?
How I read it:
He’ll make an initial bid on Tapsoba that will leave enough to get VdV
If that is rejected then he’ll bid 40 on Tapsoba which will then exclude any bid on VdV.
If our maximum bid of 40 is rejected for Tapsoba then we’ll bid 30 in VdV.
This suggests that we have less than 70m — by how much I don’t know— for both these CBs.
