Depth to do what
We do need it NOW, a Europe ready squad means a strong squad where we have competition for places.
We finished 8th place, we need to do better, we want to win a trophy, so we need it NOW.
Nobody would have argued that we weren't a bigger club than Chavski and City before their money got pumped in but now we are reduced to try and be a super league club by the back door, the only super league club with 1 trophy in 23 years to their name, it hurts but this is the reality I'm afraid. We are indeed a massive football institution. Just a shame the owners play off that for all their non footballing enterprises.
If they showed the same determination in the transfer market as in the property market we'd certainly be going places, I feel.
'Lions led by Donkeys' is the phrase that immediately springs to mind

Jacob is one of the better Spurs journos over the years. Doesn’t constantly post like Ali G, but when he does it’s usually bang on. Defo has good sources at the club.Certainly can't rule it out, but doubt Jacobs has any inside info. Everything is pure speculation at this point because Munich hasn't shown the money.... yet
It’s impossible to tell exactly what’s going on, but it feels like Kane is doing his best to leave on good terms. He isn’t signing, but he understands what going to a rival would mean to fans.
Really do think this is our best option. It’s going to be hideous, but this club just needs to move onto the next stage.
Disagree, personally. One season of his goals wi help Ange through the transition so much. Selling him and we could be in big trouble next year if we get off to a bad start.
That's not what I said. Going after players like Douglas Luiz and Conor Gallagher is stupid and a waste of time. We can decent players with a good scouting set up and recruitment.By your OG logic we can't attract decent players atm so why cram an already bloated squad with more of what you'd deem subpar deadwood????
You're a mess.
No idea whether he's got any real information, so just passing on. But I doubt if its worse sourced than the Jacobs article in the Times on Kane, which sounds to me like guess work !
If its real other media sources will say something in next day or two.
Ever since he felt Levy broke his word over the City move he was never gonna sign again. It was obvious that it was a principle thing.I could've told you that. Anyone thought he was going to stay then re-sign in January was coping hard.
Levy never broke his word to Kane. Kane was on the market for a reasonable price of around 150m, City never came close to matching it.Ever since he felt Levy broke his word over the City move he was never gonna sign again. It was obvious that it was a principle thing.

It was well documented that Kane felt Levy broke an agreement to let him go for a reasonable price if they didn’t qualify for the CL. City and Kane’s camp felt Levy wouldn’t engage in dialogue.Levy never broke his word to Kane. Kane was on the market for a reasonable price of around 150m, City never came close to matching it.
