Any good?

hat’s according to Mexican outlet Jovenes Futbolistas MX, who provide exclusive information on Tottenham’s potential move for the striker.

They explain that Spurs are yet to move for Giménez as they’re waiting to see if Harry Kane departs the club, with him heavily linked with a move to Bayern Munich.

If that deal were to go through, they would then ‘send an offer’ for Giménez, who they value at €40m. Feyenoord disagree and rate him at €50m, but Tottenham are ‘planning to offer’ that amount to start negotiations anyway.

Spurs have already moved ahead of a possible transfer, and ‘already met’ with the player’s representatives, who are his relatives, to discuss a potential move last week.

How those talks or even negotiations went isn’t explained but the player’s father, Christian Giménez, has insisted that no club have made any offer as yet.
“There’s been a lot of talk all season,” FR12 report him saying.

“It is normal to talk, but we have not received any proposal from any team. We have excellent contacts with Feyenoord and Dennis te Kloese, so we will see what happens in the end.

“We don’t rule out an offer at some point but at the moment he is a Feyenoord player, and he is very happy at the club.”

Those comments tally with the claims from Jovenes Futbolistas MX, who made it clear that a bid from Tottenham would only be coming if or when Kane is sold.

That deal does not appear to be progressing at present so therefore neither is any potential move to sign Giménez, but the interest is there and he’s now a name to keep a close eye on if Kane does end up moving to Bavaria.

It’s the best option at this point.

Kane isn’t signing a new deal, wants to leave and Bayern is the ideal ‘non rival’ team for him to go to.

The key here is will Levy stop acting Billy Big bollocks with this and actually start negotiating a deal with Bayern to get this done as soon as possible so we can attempt to try and strengthen the team with the funds?
Be honest, have you heard Kane say he wants to leave? Has he been offering quotes in ANY of the stories you've read from the online fantasy ITK team? Has anyone in his camp explicitly stated that this is the case?

I believe the answer to all 3 is "No". No you haven't, No he hasn't and No they haven't.

It's bullshit. Just wait. We'll start the season with Kane, Taps and VdV.

David Raya rumors have been nonexistent since we went for Vicario. What if Brentford get desperate to move him on toward the end of the window since it's his last year under contract and they've already signed Plekken? What if Raya's available for 25m or less?

Pairing Raya and Vicario this season would significantly increase our chances of finding our long term GK. Next Summer, we move on the loser of that competition and recoup the investment.

This guy is playing -4D chess

Genuinely can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not.

If you are, fair play.

If not, I worry for you.

It’s impossible to tell exactly what’s going on, but it feels like Kane is doing his best to leave on good terms. He isn’t signing, but he understands what going to a rival would mean to fans.

Really do think this is our best option. It’s going to be hideous, but this club just needs to move onto the next stage.

100%. If he'll consent to a move, he has to be sold.

If the rebuild goes wrong we could be in serious trouble. We conceded 63 goals last year, the new coach is gonna play very open football, we still don’t have a defence, Richy has the yips infront of goal. Things could go south very quickly as the league is gonna be brutally competitive next season.

Yeah, the money would help, but I’d still take 30 goals for another year and give Ange a chance to have a good season and settle in.
We could keep Kane for a season and he gets injured first game and is then out for 9 months and walks for free, we need to stop thinking the world will end just because he goes, lets take the £100 Million and invest it in the squad and see what happens!

I'd much rather make the change now rather then rely on Kane for another season and not give others the chance to see what they can do!
