That include pens? Anyway, his goal return is ok and I’m not worried about the single goal last season, that was an outlier. What was more concerning was the diving, touch and offsides - that’s not bad luck or bad form. Just the sign of a ooor player
I think it includes pens - If Kane goes, it will be interesting to see who plays at #9 and on the left wing between Richy and Son.

I have no idea what kind of player Kyogo (Ange’s striker last year at Celtic) is - whether he’s more like Richy or Son - But I have heard Ange’s wingers are expected to stay wide, get to the by line and provide passes for the striker, #8s and inverted wingbacks in the box - which sounds like neither Son or Richy. Will be interesting to see how things shake out.

For any Ligue 1 watchers out there, what do you think about Amine Gouiri.......any good? Better than Jonathan David for example?
I love watching him play, but whether he has the yard of pace, finishing ability, professionalism to really pop at the highest level I'm not sure. Like, if Brighton signed him, I'm nearly sure he'd be heading elsewhere within a year or two for big money.. but there's a difference between that and being a weekly starter for a (aspiringly) top 4 PL side. I do like him, but will need to kick on a bit from where he is now

Hope this week brings positive news on incomings.

We need to start to add in those identified weak areas, and to give any new signings time to bed in..
I'm thinking that Levy needs to do one of those adverts on daytime TV of the donkey sanctuary and African well building variety.

He could get Spursplay to cobble together some footage of Sanchez, Lloris, Dier, Rodon, Tanganga etc doing their worst during matches to some sad background music and harrowing narration.

It may raise enough to bring Lenglet in.

Not just Everton but looks like Richy has played #9 about 40% of the time - which makes sense given he was the backup striker to Calvert Lewin at Everton who has been out injured a lot.

30 goals in a 113 games as a #9 - Pretty mediocre BUT in fairness, don’t know how many of those 113 Richy started and how many he came on as a sub.
Let's also not forget who he was playing for. Not exactly a team in the top 3 in goals scored season after season.

Any new centrebacks we get now, ha ha, will have hardly any proper matches outside training exercises before kick off. We don’t seem to be close to offloading any unwanted players not even to the oil states as others seem to be doing without much trouble. How many years since our new stadium opened and still no naming rights deal achieved. Our new Footballing supremo ,Scott Munn well where the hell is he?

This club really needs new owners!

Well look at you. Poopooing the Beyonce concerts and F1 kart on the one hand, but upset we don't have a stadium naming rights deal signed on the other. As if one is income and the other isn't.

I'm not the one with the deranged hatred towards the owners, honey buns. I actually enjoy my life. And recently part of the enjoyment is also watching you frothing at the mouth about something you can do absolutely nothing about. Nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

Do keep it up, please. It's the funniest thing I've come across on this forum.
