There's a lot to be done, but people are forgetting that probably our biggest weakness last season was the keepers, we were 8th in expected goals allowed, but 15th in goals allowed, due to our keepers being perhaps the worst in the league. I hope that Vicario is really the answer.
Sorry but I really think the xG stuff is some of the biggest festering pile of speculative bollocks to ever pollute the sport. It's clown logic.

Too late for whom? For you? Sorry to say, but baldie doesn't give a fuck what you would like to happen.

And do you really think that, in the context of a 1-2 year rebuild, getting a player in closer to the end of the window rather than at the start is going to make that huge a difference? Especially since we're not in Europe and the manager will have plenty of time between matches to bed these players in? For real?
That's what tends to happen. Rather than get the CBs in now so they can gel with the team, we get them in 31st August, when we've lost the first 2 games, having to play Dier.
How many times has this happened ?

I am not for policing. You want to vent? Go right ahead. But don't be surprised when your (the royal "your") constant negativity gets called out.

He’s a self-confessed Saka fan who couldn’t find N17 with a map and compass and who thinks that Spurs players should pass his political litmus test or be run out of the club.
Is it surprising that he undermines any positivity on this board?

Do you have this complete lie copy + pasted and ready to hit send whenever you see someone reply to me? It's all a bit sad.

I actually don't mind Get in! Get in! as he's not a completely abhorrent dickhead like you, and your abhorrent dickheadishness has nothing to do with ENIC whatsoever.

Who says he wasn’t a good fit? He got deals done, I would have put the dodgy cunt on commission and tasked him with selling 15 players. 5% of all sale pricing goes to him, would have those useless turds whipped off to Saudi quicker than anything

All sorts of dodgy dealings going on, loans with buys to Italy, Turkey etc. see ya
Parataci has had the reputation of being a good buyer and a bad seller for years before he came to Spurs.
In his defense, selling deadwood at top rated clubs like Juve isn’t easy because the deadwood are on high wages and any move means getting them to take a cut to further their careers. Not so easy for guys who are past their best and have limited years left.

What would be a fair fee?
I'd say about £40m. He's an established first team player and one of the few experienced midfielders we have available at present. I don't particularly want him to go (at least not until Bentancur is fit again) but if he wants to leave and if we're able to use the money to improve the squad in this window then it might be worth it. What I don't want to see is Hojbjerg gone and Bissouma, Skipp and Sarr to be our only midfielders.

What has naming rights got to do with transfers?

Player are bought all the time and slot straight into the first team without playing loads of pre season games to bed them in. Happened with two of our most recent signings in Kulusevski and Bentancur.
Well naming rights means more money coming into the club, yes.Money that should help with transfers, yes. Get it?
I think it’s better to get new players in early. We want a new keeper and 2 new centrebacks . They need to gel with one another, not just give them a few training games. Its a hell of a difference to putting 1 player in the front 3 with Kane and Son.

Imo he was a terrible fit he wanted Nuno and that little Italian thug as our manager.
Got deals done 😂 yeah we had some real corkers especially the deal for Gil. 25m iirc lamela and later on we loaned them back Gil and Barca are still laughing for the 35m they got for Emerson 60 m for Richarlison the 12 month search for a CB and ending up with Lenglet on loan, 40m for a WB when we no longer play with WBs and even 45m for Romero doesn’t look great after a promising 1st year and he has failed to get many unwanted players of the books to the extent that we have a 35 man squad with no decent full backs or CBs but plenty of DMs and WBs that we no longer need.
Best place for him is prison he has done enough crimes to this club let alone what else he’s been up to
