If Marco Silva stays @ Fulham, and Mitrovic leaves for Saudi Arabia, suppose there's any play for a move to loan Richarlison to Fulham for the season?

Richarlison seems like a player that needs a manager with a bit of schmaltz and Marco Silva may need a new #9.

Funny is relative on this board.
Most of the ‘witty posts’ would make Bernard Manning look like George Carlin unless you happen to find the refrain ‘It’s Brendan Rodgers’ repeated ad nauseum hilarious.
I always try and avoid being abusive to fellow posters . I reckon if I got in a scrap in a pub car park with them I’d most likely lose , so why try and be all Ronnie and Reggie with a keyboard.

10m?
You’re going to sell one of our better assets for less than half his value while screaming to just pay the money on players that we want?
As poorly as Levy might run the club, there’s no doubt he runs it better than most of his detractors ever could.
As for moving on Dier (and others), what part of ‘legally binding obligation’ or ‘bilateral contract’ do you still fail to understand?
10M on average. PEH’s contract is closing out and he has massive leverage if he doesn’t go now. Given us good service, agree a fair price and move him on. Win win. His value is the price Athletico want to pay, not what some internet gibbon thinks we should get

Not suggesting we sack them, just deal with them fairly, set realistic fees for them to leave and be and open and transparent

Amazing that the name ‘Ronnie and Reggie’ still carry that formidable weight.
Funny story: a family friend used to have to ensure the rent was paid on Violet’s council house. Shockingly, he didn’t give her too much trouble when she got into arrears.

Why would we loan a 60M player?! Would want a decent loan fee of c.10M which may suit all three parties

My mum always thought the Richardsons were scarier but I guess they were not kept alive in films .
Mind you the Krays can’t have been that hard if they could get played in a film by pretty boys from Spandau Ballet

Some of them just won’t go.
Dier being a prime example.
He’s ‘going to stay and fight for his place’.
Emerson refused to leave last January which is how Spence ended out on loan and Doherty cut.
There is literally nothing you can do to someone who doesn’t care about playing time to further his career other than beg them — see the Sunderland documentary and Jack Rodwell : he refused— or pay them off.

I don’t think Dier is stupid, must have hated last year and he has 10 months left so someone I would definitely agree a severance with. Given us ten years.

I would keep Royal but if someone wants him, consider it. We have to churn these players, the squad is ridiculous. Have about 35 games and only have about 20 games before the Jan window opens

That's what tends to happen. Rather than get the CBs in now so they can gel with the team, we get them in 31st August, when we've lost the first 2 games, having to play Dier.
How many times has this happened ?

Who do you think played every minute in these games last season?
Mr Eric Dier (to you) who is a top class CB who will play many games for THFC this season.

SB are all local boys. We used to go and see them at ‘The Pegasus’ or ‘Rochester Castle’ when they were known as ‘The Makers’. My sister had a great friendship with their bass player, Richard Miller.
Changed their name to ‘Gentry’, I think, and then disappeared.
Only to re-emerge sans Richard as ‘Spandau Ballet’.
Gary wanted his brother in the band.

Last time I saw Rich, he was sweeping the floor at Dalston Woolies. What might have been?

Do we ever get our summer business done by this time? I feel this is pretty much the norm, waiting till the last couple weeks of the window to try and get a deal.

Seems that whole mindset only changed last summer due to conte giving Daniel a hard time and threatening to walk out .

United still have Eric Bailly on their books (although it looks like he’s Saudi bound) and took years to get rid of Phil Jones. Pepe will be on Woolwich’s books for the length of his contract.
All successful clubs have this problem to a degree.
My guess is that Dier has had offers — he’s no worse than some of the past-it pros headed for Saudi —. And that he just isn’t interested.

Not quite Pete Best levels of missing out but still a massive OUCH
