They make up for it in other ways. The only great attribute Lenglet has is his left peg. And that's a secondary attribute for a defender. I've seen him caught out positionally a few times last season. There's one goal in particular I'm thinking of but can't remember who it was against.

Lenglet would come with a reasonably big wage and is non-HG. He's a poor 4th choice for that reason.

I'd rather use Davies as an emergency left footed cb than bring Lenglet back.

I think it comes down to how much playing time he would get if he stays

He's a versatile player, playing no 10, RW (for E u20's) and most forward in a CM3 - he's yet to show the defensive discipline to play as another of the CM's although I think he has most of the attributes (even down to a hard tackle - as a 17 year old he had Drinkwater playing for Chelsea u21's as an over age player for toast when Drinkwater took liberties.

So he'd definitely be a good player in the squad - but with Bisssouma, possible Hojbjerg replacement, Skipp, Sarr and a returning Bentancur (5 players for 3 positions already plus Maddison and Lulusevski could play there ......... with no europe so mainly playing PL once a week plus League Cup........

A decent Championship loan - and I think he'd get that - with more minutes would help him
Oh I agree fully here. A loan to a decent Championship side might well do him the power of good. I'm not totally convinced he won't get some decent minutes for us though. AP is well known to back young players if they are performing, and he'll show faith in them. He runs a meritocracy, so if Devine is good enough he will play.

I know Kane wants trophies but surely he’d be remembered better in 20 years for smashing all the English records rather than winning 2 or 3 French titles

Yeh but he is mates with footballers. Half of them are thick, they’d be spending all their life trolling him on trophies. He would be like an 18 year old who hasn’t lost his virginity getting bantered but my his mates. It’s like a monkey he needs to get off his back.

On that, if no one offers a transfer fee rather we keep him than release him. Think he'd be a touch of class playing as a forward instead of trying to play him as a defender :contehmm:
He's also got the vista to play as a hybrid 8/10. Gimme plenty Perisic with the ball dropping to him 15-20 yards from goal, right by that semi circle

I’m sure LeParisien LeParisien would agree that Paris is a better city to live in than Munich.
And it’s closer to London too.
If it wasn’t such a fucked up club, this would be appealing. Can only imagine how the PSG Ultras will react if Harry has a lean spell.

If I was him I’d chose PSG. Paris better than Munich, London a Eurostar away.
