We need to replace Kane with someone who’s scored regularly in a competitive decent league. Signing a striker from the Dutch league is far too big a gamble. We won’t be able to get near what Kane is but gambling on that position is lunacy.

Whoever we buy won't be able to get near Kane's numbers. Nowhere near. Strikers like Kane with the sheer volume of goals he scores come along very rarely. Look how long it took for us to have a striker like him. Lineker was the last one who scored freely, almost guaranteeing 20 goals plus every season when fit.
If we can find someone who gives us 15-20 goals a season and the rest of the attack and midfield chip in with more goals we will be ok
