MehI do think, of the options on offer, Vlahovic would be our best bet. Putting aside the fact he’s likely say no, I think he has the underlying physical strength to cut it.
Should just buy him ahead of any of those.Big problem is the striker dominoes this summer.
Probably goes like this:
Kane - Bayern
PSG - Vlahovic
Manure - Hojlund
Juve - Lukaku
BUT
If any of those don’t happen, those teams start looking at Muani and we are back to random b list strikers from Fiorentina
Richy is better than him IMOI do think, of the options on offer, Vlahovic would be our best bet. Putting aside the fact he’s likely say no, I think he has the underlying physical strength to cut it.
We won’t though
Tony and Kolo in, Richy out in JanWorst case scenario we can play Richy / Son as strikers, maybe get Toney in Jan. I prefer Kolo-Muani though.
I thought the same as you.Shit I’ve been saying that wrong all this time.
I knew it meant round that’s why I thought I had it right
Whilst the rhetoric is juvenile and moronic, there are a number of reasons fans have to be unhappy right now:-
- We just finished 8th and missed out on Europe. This is well below our stature and financial status as a club and I think we all agree is unacceptable for us.
- After a really fruitful period, we’ve only attained top 4 once in the last 4 years and have finished out of the top 6 twice
- We haven’t had a manager for a full season since 18/19, a sign of the successive poor managerial choices we’ve made since Poch left.
- Our recent recruitment record has been awful
- We’ve won 1 trophy this century. I appreciate it’s gotten harder with the influx of foreign money, but that’s not good enough for Tottenham
- Ticket prices for fans are extortionate and I read the highest in the country. That doesn’t reflect what we see on the pitch
- After such a disappointing season last year, our transfer activity (in and out) has been pretty uninspiring thus far (I appreciate there are many weeks left in the window).
- One of our greatest ever players wants to leave because the club hasn’t been able to fulfil his ambition.
- Our club has appeared to lack any real strategy for success since Poch left.
Most of the failures noted sit under the remit of Levy, and whilst some of the comments made about him are utterly cringey, so is the way you,Airfixx and
Get in! seek to dismiss every single negative, or critique to a minute level to undermine them at least.
I’ve never previously been ENIC or Levy out, and I'm still broadly comfortable with the way we run our club financially.
But surely we can all agree that Levy needs to be completely removed from all football-related decision making now? I know the new structure promotes this, but the fact everyone on the footballing side still reports to him is a concern for me.
I no longer have faith in him to make the footballing decisions needed to push our club in the right direction.
Transfer market reaching the apex of time and price mental shit.
Basically, steer clear of any player Wham are looking at.
Leave Toney at Brentford taking points off Woolwich
German league is shit for judging attacking players because the defense are typically shit over there. Could be a world beater but could look good just because of who they are playing. So many 'great' attackers turn out not to to be in another league. My only issue with Kolo Muani is the sample size is far too small.
He's had one good year in a top league.and he's 25 this year.... Granted, it was one hell of a season. 23 goals and 17 assists in in 43 starts is mightily impressive. But yeah, the age, the one good season and the prices quoted are a slight worry.
But he impressed me a lot at the World Cup and when I have seen him for Frankfurt.
Son?German league is shit for judging attacking players because the defense are typically shit over there. Could be a world beater but could look good just because of who they are playing. So many 'great' attackers turn out not to to be in another league.

Players may be good may be crap, the defending means you can't be sure either way. Other leagues have a higher hit rate for their 'top quality' attacking players
Kolo-Muani looks a bit special in a way that someone like Werner never did. I back him.German league is shit for judging attacking players because the defense are typically shit over there. I tend to trust the French to bring them through, which is in the plus columnKolo-Muani looks a bit special in a way that someone like Werner never did. I back him.
It's not just the physical strength though or Janssen would've been a lot more effective. Given the many flops signed/loaned , this make or break season is not the one to take risks and spurs should get a pl proven quality striker like ToneyI do think, of the options on offer, Vlahovic would be our best bet. Exactly, it’s a good compare to Jansen. It's not just the physical strength though or Janssen would've been a lot more effective. Given the many flops signed/loaned , this make or break season is not the one to take risks and spurs should get a pl proven quality striker like Toney
