I'm counting we still need to sell or loan out 12 players

Lloris
Whiteman or Austin
Reguilon
Sanchez
Sessegnon
Rodon
Spence
Tanganga
PEH
Gil
White(maybe he stays to offer emergency depth as a 6 and LB)
Ndombele or lo Celso

Maybe Perisic too and obviously no idea what's happening with kane

Definitely need 2 centre backs in aswell as a wide forward if both Gil and Perisic go

And obviously another striker if kane leaves.

There is way too much still to do.
What a to do list. We are totally fucked in this area.

Bit surprised not to see David Bentley on that list . 23 years in the job and still has not learned anything in my opinion , quite remarkable

He cost 20m. We’d make our money back on a player we don’t really need with the midfielders we have.

If he wants to go and Ange is happy that is. No point keeping him around as his price will only drop further.

Pretty clear the club need the money with its struggles to get deals done.
People obsessing over getting every possible last million. Do the deal, move on

Seemingly only a matter of time:
- PEH
- Sanchez
- Lloris

Mere formalities:
- Whiteman or Austin >>>> Easy loan if you look deep enough down the pyramid.
- White >>> He'll get a loan somewhere (champo or Lg1)
- Rodon >>>> Back to champo late in the window
- Spence >>>> Easy loan
- Tanganga >>>> Low priority. HG..... No harm to have around.... If he's that desperate to leave; he'll agitate and he'll get a move somewhere (even if it's just the champo)

Injuries (potentially preventing move):
- Sessegnon
- Gil

Which leaves.......

- Reguilon
- Ndombele or lo Celso
- Dier (?)

Thankfully it's probably not as bad as it looks on paper...... Just get the fucking new CBs sorted!
Dier won't leave even if we make his place someone else's. Will be a free transfer next year, and that'd be embarrassing for ENIC as it'd be 10 years here.

Yh on paper mate but if we are needing to get players out before we bring in that's a big problem

We had an opportunity to sell years ago but we didn’t. United were prepared to pay 50(?!) million. At that time (under Poch), most of the fanbase were against selling.

He’s 3 years past his sell-by date.
But he had signed a 4 year contract.
Everything else is moot.

According to a report by Matt Law of The Telegraph, Tottenham Hotspur have shown sudden interest in 18-year-old Bayern Munich striker talent Mathys Tel. The youngster could soon find himself dragged into the Harry Kane saga, as the two clubs seek to finalize a deal for the England captain.

Currently, the report states that Bayern plan to keep Tel for the moment and have no intention of sending him out on loan. The youngster himself has been impressive in preseason so far, scoring five against Rottach-Egern as well as Bayern’s sole goal vs Manchester City.

Thomas Tuchel, however, does not seem like a fan of the youngster — he has shown he prefers experienced players like Choupo-Moting and Serge Gnabry at the top of the XI over a teenager like Tel.

Wonder if this is what Stopped the negotiations today - we suddenly threw them a curve ball and they are considering this

Yep, reminds me a lot of Jermain Defoe, think he would do very well with us - got a feeling he will end up somewhere like West Ham though
Nothing like Defoe mate. Defoe was about as pure of a poaching striker as has ever existed in football history. A last-man occupying instinctive finisher who plays off the shoulder constantly and shoots from the most wicked angles imaginable.

This guy is a winger in a 4-3-3 who runs at defenses and doesn’t even play Centre forward. The only player I’d actually compare favorably to Defoe in the past 20 years is Sergio Aguero. That’s how special JD was.

Goalkeeping loans are probably the hardest to sort out, even far down the pyramid, if you want them to actually have a good chance at playing.

Also, if Whiteman is out injured for a while, we won't be able to loan him and we would likely need to keep Austin around anyway as the 3rd choice so we might end up keeping both around
