Think we paid 15 million for him. So it wouldnt be a loss.So you think that we should basically take a loss on what we paid for Hojbjerg?
£25m would be the absolute minimum I’d consider.

That's not too far off the realms of possibility, though I'd have thought that the 'supposed' asking price would negate that as a sweetener. You have to wonder, like with the naming rights, they are keeping that FFP headroom available to make us a more attractive takeover target.
Qatar could come in, name the stadium what they want and then splurge a load of cash as we have the headroom.
Same reason Kane is suddenly “the greatest prem striker ever” AFTER he’s leaving.
Mad for what? 44m euros that's about £37m which is a good price for him.Your mad.
Hojbjerg is not the best player but to get a replacement of same experience or preferably one who is better at attacking will cost double that fee.
Better to keep him and spend the extra money where we need it
It's rather patronising (and arrogant) to suggest that Real Sociedad are "broke".
They are very well run on and off the pitch, sell very well and, unlike us, have champions league football next season.

He wasn't someone I would be looking to get rid of either but it appears that we want to sell and he wants to leave.
How much is PEH worth? If you had your way we’d sell all our “deadwood” for £1 each.
He’s worth more than that.
Good job you aren’t in charge of club finances!
Whoops got it mixed up with the Fabinho post

All true.
But they will not learn much abut having Spanish international Reguilon on loan that they don't know now.
Sociedad's top transfer fee paid is about 20m - I suspect if they offered that for Reguilon its at least a talking point. doesn't need to be 100% cash up front so could be paid out of the cash they receive from CL if that's the way they budget
It seems Hojbjerg is no longer wanted at Spurs whereas the players we want are all key for their respective teams .. hence, inflated fees.
We have really strong midfield options & it seems clear Hojbjerg will be at best a squad player. There’s legitimate doubts he can play the way the new coach wants.
With all that in mind 20-25 million-ish seems a pretty fair offer.

Strange way of showing it too. You’re telling me it’s more important for Davies to fill in at CB instead of getting reps in his preferred position in a new system? Doubtful.
Davies is only here to be a veteran presence and help with the HG quota
We are starting another season in total chaos. This is it. This is why this club is so frustrating.
Years of frugality have allowed is to build up more FFP allowance to exploit each transfer window than any other Premier League club, ever, yet we constantly refuse to use this luxury to benefit the team, address glaring deficiencies, and back which ever manager is currently in post and give him the right tools to work with.
What's the point? What's it all about?
It's hardly surprising no manager has seen out a full season for half a decade when you think about it.
High in stock implies a connection to a realistic valuation of said stock.

Ange hasn’t had a bad word to say about any of the players.
He’s hinted that Sanchez is exploring options and we know Hugo didn’t go on the trip.

People say it’s paranoia but there is an “anyone but Spurs” mentality in our mediaThis has pissed me off more than it should.... We and he have been constantly disrespected for much of his career yet suddenly all his (fuck-headed) doubters disappear and he magically becomes regarded as exactly what all these so-called elite teams like BM, Man U, RM & PSG need to win the big pots.
The clamour for the country's best player to leave the country from our media is unprecedented.
