Strength and dribbling traore destroys Porro. He'd eat him alive in a 1v1 situation.
Yeah in a wind tunnel from the halfway line when they have 40 meters to sprint into.

Against a deep block or any sort of situation that isn’t transition?

Porro shits all over him in any situation requiring some nuance and technical skill.

There is a fucking reason Traore has barely played any football since 2021. I promise it’s not a coincidence.

Porro is a better footballer but Adama has some better attributes. The reason he's barely played is because he's wanted out of the club + he is a terrible starting player due to poor stamina, as well as that his obvious poor decision making, shooting technique etc...

If he'd accept a squad player role then he's a useful wildcard imo. He is a good dribbler with insane physical attributes. Conte had it right wanting to turn him in to a wing-back, as long as they worked on the stamina issue.

Traore played over 30 times in the prem last year 1 G 2 A, Porro 15 games 3 G 3A.
Traore played for Wolves, a team starting a 40-year-old Costa as a striker, their attack is absolutely fucked. He still completed 2.95 take ons per 90, which puts him in the top 5 percent for wingers, and had 0.19 expected assists per 90, which would put him in the top 20 percent for wingers.

Is he the best option on the market? Fuck no. But at least he can dribble and cross without taking five touches and having to move to his left.

I would call him a one-trick pony but that’s actually insulting to ponies who have far superior ability to change direction and vary their speeds.

Even when Raul Jimenez he did not have great numbers. He has one or two characteristics which are good but he is awful at pretty much everything else. What him after a sprint it takes 5 minutes to get back into the game.

I think there's a reason that in around 4 years he hasn't got more than 5 G/A combined and it ain't because who's playing upfront.

He's a very limited player, but the meat and potatoes of what the Ange system requires of its wingers (beating their man and delivering a low cross) he can actually do.

Personally I'd much rather get Doku, even with his injury worries.
