From SC ITK:

cabinessence: "Bit of Rock Solid. Was going to be one of the two CHs we've been linked with and a cheaper one as well. Now waiting for Harry to go and maybe buy both CHs and a younger reserve striker. Like it or not, Rich appears to be our new No. 9."

Rock Solid:ange-confused:

Either they just pieced that together from links to Wahi and Tel or there is some truth to it.

FWIW, I wouldn't hate it.

That would be awful.

Maybe.

Rock solid. :ange-lips:

I’m pretty sure a mute three year old could’ve put that ITK together just by listening to the stories in the press.

Ignoring the fact that all SC ITK is bollocks, this would make some kind of sense, that we are now waiting to see if the Kane sale goes through before revising our plans, as that gives us more money to play with but also a potential problem to solve (the way the club might see it).

Like you, I wouldn't hate this at all, in fact, as I've said, if Levy doesn't turn Kane into 80-100m this summer, it will be a humungous failure on his part. Letting Kane walk for free next summer would be a massive fail.

I'm not convinced Kane even suits the way we want to play now. Same with Son (and Kulusevski should never have been bought). We could have 200m extra to rebuild if we'd sold Son and Kane and not bought Kulusevski.

I want to see Son and Kulu in this system until January before making that call.

Son will get an offer from Saudi every single transfer window now, we don't have to rush and move on the best human being at the club and one of the best finishers we have ever had. imo.

Kulu wasn't expensive and no great loss. Could work as an 8/20 as well.

Otherwise, fully agree with everything you said.

I can't believe I just read the last 40 pages of this thread.

Chelsea are signing 30m players for their feeder club. We can’t even sign a senior CB. Truly wild times.

Cunte would call the Euros 30 million Ugochukwu transfer a "club signing"., and ignore him As I suspect will Poch.

At least our "club signing" Pape Sarr is now two years on from Paratici doing the deal, and looks ready to be part of our first team squad with a head coach ready to integrate him.

Tosin is fine as the 3rd CB in the rotation. Get a top CB target to play next to Romero and Tosin as the HG option, who will get games when either is out... OK.

If you bring him in as the main CB signing of the summer, or with fucking Lenglet, the club should hang their heads in shame every time they take 80 quid off a family for each kid that buys a ticket to a game.

Pure shame.

Don’t forget we’ll probably go back in for carter vickers too when all else fails.

It's very easy to do Hotspur88 level stuff.

Just got off the phone with my guy he tells me it looks likely that Kane is going to move to Bayern. Kane wants to go and we'll let him if Bayern meet levy's asking price.
We should sign Philips before deadline day, everything agreed with him weeks ago and. Now just trying to work out payments with Blackburn who want more up front. But we're close.

Finally we'll definitely sign one of Tosin, vdv or tapsoba in the next 4 weeks. Have it on good authority that we've agreed personal terms with all of them

Kulusevski cost what 25m plus the 10m loan fee?

No way he has the skill set to play as an 8.

I’m tired of this fanbase acting like we’re way above Tosin Adarabioyo.

-tall, 6’5”, 80th percentile aerial stats in the PL
-quick, thrives running back to goal
-grew up in City’s academy, is intricately familiar with the 2-3-5 buildup Ange uses
-HG, one year on his contract, cheap.

I know I sure as hell prefer Tosin over Dier in any system requiring a high line. And he wants to come.

Get it done.
I've not seen much of him, but was concerned by the reports that he wasn't first choice at Fulham.
