I don't play video games. But are you saying there is a game about hookers?? I'm all ears!

We really need a meme for old boy learns about GTA! Lol Yes grandad there's a strip club there too.So after a little GBH with said baseball bat bank robbery backseat action with the hooker of your choice you can chill at bar and watch the grind. Ask Carl Johnson Carl Johnson he'll fill you in.

I appreciate us negotiating, so long as he does move in the end. Stated multiple times that putting us in the best possible position long term is what matters.

Honestly, I'd much prefer we take our lumps at this point, if need be, than rush to buy and ultimately waste the money.

But we can't not sell at this point, and need to go ahead and close our other business. Get Mickey, Tapsoba, and the French striker we're supposedly smitten with done within the next 2 weeks.
I think a lot of fear is seeping in that the money wont be invested fully in the team, his tranfser fee plus a reasonable amount of our opertaing profit should go directly into players/transfers. It's really starting to test the patience!

I guess for transfers in we have to wait for agents to whore their players to as many places as possible and hope there are no takers for our targets. It's probably the same on our outgoings, but the other way around. At that point all parties decide if they want to spend the money, or cash in.

This certainly wont lead to us having the best possible start to the season.

That sounds more likely. We'll probably settle at around £90m + some addons.

£90m plus add ons would put it to circa £115-120m…. still a min of circa £20m less than they’re offering.

Given the likes of Vlahovic and Muani seem to be a no go and the reported youngsters being Orban and Johnson, I would be keeping Kane for the season. If we do well he may extend, if not he will leave but he’ll have hopefully helped us achieve some form of European qualification.

Whereas if we signed either another quality forward or wide player then I wouldn’t be too disappointed if we lost Kane for circa £100m. Johnson and Orban despite being talented are extremely raw… they might pop up with a few goals but they’re not going to frighten the opposition or make a dent in the goals we will lose by selling Kane.

You lose a 10/10 (Kane), be satisfied with an 8/10 (Muani etc) but disappointed with a 6/10 at best (Johnson).

In all honesty, I don't think the start to the season matters so I'm not that fussed. The only thing that matters about this season is preparing for next season.

CL qualification, best case scenario, may be worth up to £40M. Anything more than that is adequate at this point, because we're going to be without Kane in 2024-25 anyway. He isn't going to extend his contract.
