Doubt they would. Balogun did very well out on loan and they're still gonna struggle to find a spot for him in that front 3 regularly with Nketiah also in the picture. I think they could definitely do better than they've got in the 9 role but looks like they are quite happy with Jesus after last season so unless they wanted to replace him as starter or bin off Nketiah for a better backup I can't see them dipping into the market for a top forward with how much they've already spent.

I'm happy with them being happy with Jesus.

Re Balogun - Seemed like they were shopping him about.... Can't remember who. but it sounded like an Italian club recently pulled out of a deal for him and it wasn't a big money thing.

I want VDV "here we go" tonight!

I personally hope they do flog him for relative peanuts and he ends up being better than both Jesus and Nketiah. I've not watched much of him admittedly but 21 goals in 37 for mid table Reims in a notoriously defensive league suggests he could be a better natural finisher than any they've got on the books currently. Nketiah did play well at points last season but I think he flatters to deceive a lot, not convinced he is or ever will be a top 4 quality striker, certainly not as a starting XI player.

Can't recall ever watching him; but on that kind of spec it's seems odd that he wouldn't be knocking on the door to at least challenge Nkettiah as #2..........

I really like the idea of VDV as the starting LB and another quality CB being brought in to partner Romero.

Rate what I've seen of Udogie but don't want to chuck him into the deep end. Bed him in and I'm sure he will do very well.
