Where he will play?

CB presumably.

Disagree.
He was very much a punt who should have been brought in alongside someone like Skriniar. Not instead of. He was better all round proposition than Joe Rodon - even down to his marketing potential.
I think you’re a little too protective over club decisions. They are and have been rank for too long.

I'd have happily seen him signed in Jan 20 when first linked..... That's not the issue.

Rodon turned out a poor choice (again; accepted), but you questioned the "logic"; yet when comparing JR v KMJ the logic was perfectly sound.

As for Dembele, I’d have wheeled out a half fit Dembele for a CL final over a half fit Kane or fully fit Sissoko.

Edit- I don’t post for likes. I post what I think when I have time & inclination.

I know you don't.... You are typically a fair and balanced poster... In this instance I just think you're trading heavily in hindsight.

inflated market, man city just signed a defender in their league for £77 million, united just signed a unknown kid from Atalanta for 72 million.
I think we need to stop referring to the market as inflated and instead just accept it as the market.

We seem to have been discussing it as inflated for a decade now as if it is a temporary thing, when in reality it just rises and rises and rises and when you think it can't rise anymore something else comes along and adds to the insanity.

First time I've seen or posted that video.

Here's another

He's very quick, positionally aware, good on the ball, has leadership qualities (Netherlands U21 captaIn), excellent passing, will bring the ball out from defence really well.

You severely under-rate him.

He's just twenty one, will make mistakes for sure. Has pace, two footed, tough as nails, with a good passing range.

Maguire is thirty, a record signing for United at eighty million, England International and can't kick or head a ball.

Go figure.

Who is going to buy Tanganga and Reguillon?
Would you spend good money on them? They have either been injured or terrible for 2 years
I reckon there's defo gotta be a champo club that would pay £5m for Tanganga. Yes he's looked shit for us but I bet he would look mustard in the championship, might even progress to a bottom-half PL standard player if he was getting 90 minutes consistently. I don't think he's really that bad tbh, he's just not played enough and was kept in the squad to make up numbers for a number of seasons where going on loan would have seen him push on.
Reguillon is harder, normally some non-top 3 side in Spain would punt at £10-15m for him but all clubs in Europe seem absolutely destitute atm. He really is shit.
