This tells us two things:

Kane is gone (which anyone paying attention already knew).

They actually think he's ready to be a backup striker in the Prem.

From what i have read and the few snippets of video, he looks the real deal.

If the reports are true and we have signed him, then for sure we need him here and now to back up Richy.

In all fairness it looks like a cracking bit of business?

Not really we could want to loan him out to a club in Europe to get experience in another league.
This is cope. He's currently a star striker of a team in the middle of the season, disrupting that in HOPES of finding a loan in Europe is ridiculous. Not to mention that it might cost us a foreign loan spot, which could be important considering we barely got rid of any deadwood yet.

Just bring him in,

Look very promising and suits Ange's style nicely.

Soloman, Veliz, Devine, Sarr, Gil, Philip's, Destiny all young and looking like they can achieve great things in the future. Of course, a big chunk of our fan base will write them off if they are not world class instantly.

No, just showing that what the other poster was saying wasn't wrong and that rumours at the time did put the cost at that price.

And yes we should have pulled the trigger as it would have been good to bed player in a bit during the overseas tour, like Ange wanted... To have at least one CB in before the tour.

Yes it would have been nice to have him early.

And because we didn't, for whatever reason, the price has gone up an extra £15-£20 million.

Alas; no it doesn't "show" that at all... That's not how evidence works.... That just your theory.

You’re claiming that was the price given to Spurs on July 3 and had we accepted at that time then that’s what we would have paid. You claim this on the basis of a single tweet from a Mirror reporter with no inside knowledge of the club but who somehow has proprietary knowledge of this deal.

Here’s an alternative explanation: that’s a speculative figure that he’s guessing and the delay has been due to Wolfsburg getting replacements in or Sours trying to lower a much higher valuation.

We got close and backed away. We started negotiations with the intentions of completing them once we got the money from sales.

We got so close to a player Ange seems to want a lot, we obviously had the money or we wouldn't have gone that far in negotiations, but then backed away and a whole month later here we are, same player, close again, but still no deal and he is 10-15 mill more expensive :ange-hmm: :ange-bored:

How is this obvious lol? We negotiated because we expected to get the money in the future, and wanted the deal to be ready.

Money from sales that have yet to happen? ...That when eventually paid would be installments? ....Installments of money we have not actually received?

M'thinks you're jumping the gun rather a lot here...... Esp. to be speaking in terms of fact and past tense.

The sale either happened or is about to happen. No clue what installments have to do with it.
