Yeah, he’s a really great resource for scouting and just worldly news and stories on South American football, and a self-confessed Spurs supporter too. I rate his opinion quite highly.

But if you listen to what he actually said, he was sort of framing it as “look, this kid from the Argentinian league isn’t going to come in and take Kane’s spot immediately, there’s a lot of risk involved” more than any direct comment on Veliz himself.
 
10 days to first game of season and still no centre half's. Looks like Argentinian now done, did any of the itk genius's on other sites see this coming or was it the usual, couldn't say anything, but did behind the scenes crap.
A few more in this week would lead to one assuming we are spending kane money like we did with bale.
Centre half's appearing soon would be reassuring to say the least.

The deal is done for Kane, that much is now obvious.

I'd be amazed if we haven't nailed two CB signings before the TW ends.

Time will tell, and I tend to agree with you.

If this is indeed that case, then we will need more goals from Richey's supporting cast, especially Son.

This new kid looks the nuts, and i hope that Levy can get his visa sorted pronto, as i truly think after early viewing he could eventually be as good as Suárez.
