Wow. Not really seen anything of him but he tries to hit the corners every time which is great. Good finisher. Obvious caveats about the step up but he’s interesting.

So to summarise the last 24 hours:
- Kane saga coming to an end with him probably off.
- Young Argentinian striker called Veliz coming in. Messi loves him.
- VdV finally happening.
- Jonathan David and Orban potential incomings too.

Pretty exciting developments.

Youre not allowed to be excited.

is he really leaving though?

looks like he will sit out his contract and then join Madrid.
I reckon RM will bid for him late in the window. PSG will be getting desparate to get anything back for him, and it could easily be worth it for RM from a marketing perspective to spend £80-100m to get him in a season early. Doesn't he get paid like £1.6m a week on his current PSG contract, meaning they stand to save over £60m in wages alone if they sell him, another £80m on top takes it to something like £140m additional on the books for this season.

If I was them I"d buy Kane for 100m and get Mbappe for free next summer instead.

But plenty of tickets on the exchange.

I want to do Sheff U but I can't bring myself to buy a ticket (£65).

It's obscene.
Mine is one of them , can't make(on hols) the first game. Truth be told (except for a handful of single tickets up in the gods for the Blades) all 3 fixtures were sold out a couple of days after they went on sale.

Beggars belief really, considering the close season non renewing of ST's and OH memberships. Must admit I came close but caved in on the last day. Glad I did from a financial POV as it transpires the greedy barstewards left the ST's alone and hit the poor members, though they'll probably make us pay up for it next season.

The Mancs & Scousers usually sell out quickly not so Sheffield so I guess there is method in their ploy of grouping 3 games together. One criticism is the how slow they are to open the exchange platform, they knew last week the ManU was sold out.
