Kane has already reportedly stated that if he's still here come the Brentford match he won't be leaving.

IDK the outcomes of conversations that have gone on between GLC and Ange, whether he's now happy to stay at Spurs or not. If not then I don't see him playing vs Brentford.

As for Perisic, he's a seasoned pro, he has a fine attitude when playing, he's been really good in the two friendly matches, I don't think he'll be dragging his heels.
Yes I'm aware of what Kane said, I'm just hoping he won't be here and that we can use the money for a rebuild. I'm sure both GLC and Perisic would have listened, promised to do their best etc but like I said Ange might not have much choice, like when AVB wanted to get rid of Ade after being confronted by him in a team meeting, he reluctantly ended up playing him again after sometime.

Selling your best players is what West Ham always did when I began following Spurs.

The cumulative effect of what Sugar and ENIC have done to this club has reduced Spurs to that level.

No trophies, no ambition; always sell the best players.

Rinse and repeat.
Neymar was bought from Barca
Ronaldo was bought from united..

every player has a price

There was no European football due to English clubs being banned during Clive Allen's time with the club.

Spurs were competitive at the time though.

But didn't win anything. Which was the premise you just put on the table.

[FAIL]

The 86 / 87 team in particular.

1 x FA Cup final choke and 1 x 3rd place.

Spurs 2015 - 19 were FAR more competitive accross all comps than that team.

[FAIL]

Gary Lineker was signed as Clive Allen's replacement.

So hastily onto another case cos the last one you provided fell completely on it's arse???? LOL

I barely need to try at all if you're involved.

The harder YOU try; the more you fail.

Richarlison is Kane's replacement.

N'dombele was Dembele's replacement.

Reguillon was Danny Rose's replacement.

Serge Aurier was Kyle Walker's replacement.

Lo Celso was Eriksen's replacement.

Do you see a pattern emerging?

We still need to replace him regardless anyway so I don't get your point?

Ultimately it comes down to replacing him with £100m in our pocket and replacing him with £0

Now work out what's best for the club out of those two scenarios...

Erm those signings were way before Paul Mitchell arrived.

Do you live under a rock? Or use that rock to beat against your head?
Some were.

Baldini signed the magnificent 7 but Comolli did some good work too like Arnesen before him.

Levy sacks them all but he seems to prefer the ones who make the big sales.

Baldini wanted to give Kane to Leicester after he helped Levy to sell Bale.

I've worked out that it is best for ENIC to sell the club unless repeating the same mistakes over and over is the desired outcome.

Absolutely none of the players you said we downgraded on were signed by Paul Mitchell. Zero.

Even the failed upgrades had nothing to do with him.
