You’ll notice in the report from Ornstein he isn’t close to agreeing to personal terms with Brighton
Does the article (can't read it because it is behind a paywall) contradict the tweet, because Ornstein's tweet says they are close to agreeing?

Or did you miss read 23 y/o Ghana int'l (international) as 23 y/o Ghana isn't?

Still a jumped-up little prick. 40-year-old grown man with spiky hair.
Think Mohamed is a number 8 right? If so perfect for us especially if PEH goes. There are a few players out there for good prices like olise , eze, etc all likely to be cheaper than say Gallagher or Johnson regardless of position. The money soent on those two could be used to buy say Mohamed or a tabsoba.

Because in Levy world, the £35m we spent on making Kulusevski’s loan permanent is “a new winger signing”
Hope we don’t regret it as I’m seeing a lot of quality players being snapped who are just as good if not better than kulu. He has no real pace to play an inverted winger on the right. As he has further to run to go round players on the right..

Yeah, the Kulusevski thing has been done to death, and I realize we basically had to do it due to the loan fee and the terms of the loan agreement, but he had what - three goal involvements in like 15 matches after the World Cup?

If we were scouting for a player to play right winger in Ange’s system just off the basis of 2022-23 Kulusevski would be nowhere near the top of the list. I know he was struggling with an injury a bit but I’m not very impressed by that transfer at the moment.

We absolutely didn't have to do it. I think not getting CL meant we could walk away.

Brilliant. Well, I figured the initial loan fee we paid Juve was hefty enough to make his eventual purchase a foregone conclusion, but it’s even more disquieting to know that it wasn’t an obligation to fork over £30m this summer.

I understand that Conte and Zombie Conte tactics actively put our wingers in disadvantageous positions consistently, and that Kulu kind of had the season from hell with fitness, but I can’t imagine there’d be a long line of suitors for a one-footed right winger with neither pace nor power, who lacks the ability to run behind or score consistently, and showcases zero positional versatility to play centrally.

He was basically Lamela if you took away his speed, strength, and all of his intangibles.

Kulusevski has been involved in 22 goals in 3,346 Premier League minutes. So roughly about 37 games. Involved in a goal every 1.6 games.

Not sure we can complain too much with that output. It's practically identical to what Christian Eriksen provided for us.

James Maddison in comparison has been involved in 39 goals in 4,952 minutes over the last two seasons which is a goal every 1.4 games.

I get he's not the quickest and aesthetically not the most pleasing. But if a player is providing that sort of output, he's probably worth keeping around.

I have my doubts at whether he's suited on the right wing for Ange - but I am sure Ange will get the best out of his output.

And doubled the goals and assists per 90.
In the 17 PL starts he had post World Cup (something like 1300 minutes) he got us 2 assists and one goal.

Again, he was brilliant in spring of 2022, no doubt about it, but he was a large, undeniable part of our attacking malaise the following season, and does not seem at all suited to what Ange asks his wingers to do.

I remember reading whilst he was in great form that Conte had told him to stop having fun. The whole reason he was playing so well was because enjoying himself and then have you old teddy throwing dinosaur telling him to stop.

After that, he was never the same.

You are a robot and you must comply, Conte twat waffle.

Kulusevski says Conte doesn't want him to 'have fun' and details half-time anger

I think that thigh issue back in October really did something to him as well, his burst was never even close to the same after that, and he noticeably lacked confidence in duels and take-ons even after he returned.

He was brilliant in spring 2022 and the optimist in me sees that verve and confidence returning under Ange, who will harness his playmaking and stop trying to use him as an outlet to win headers and hold up the ball on the counter (I would say the same for Son, I swear our usage of wingers was up there with the worst in football history under Conte in 22-23)

But it would be downright Panglossian to believe that his struggles were all down to Conte and that we shouldn’t be concerned about his very real physical limitations, lack of runs in behind, and overall fit as an advanced wide winger in the Postecoglou system.

Veliz said that he spoke with Lo Celso, and that he told him that he'd be here to support him. Which means Gio is definitely staying (which we already suspected, but it's nice to have some confirmation).
