Harry Kane scored four goals against Shakhtar Donetsk on Sunday and Ange Postecoglou is planning to start the Premier League season with the England captain up front.
Harry Kane scored four more Tottenham goals and performed a lingering lap of honour but Ange Postecoglou is planning to start the Premier League season with the England captain up front.
'There's no doubt I'd use Harry,' said Postecoglou, when asked about Sunday's opener against Brentford after Sunday's 5-1 win against Shakhtar Donetsk in a preseason friendly.
'He's a fantastic striker, one of the world's best. The way the team plays will help him. He loves scoring goals, we created a load of chances today and he was the beneficiary.'

There was also a swipe at Bayern's very public pursuit. 'What is factual right now is that he is a contracted player of our football club,' said Postecoglou. 'I certainly wouldn't talk about contracted players at other football clubs but I'm not at Bayern, so they can go the way they want.'
Kane played 80 minutes before making way for Dane Scarlett, who scored Tottenham's fifth.

Depends what the clauses are but 30m euros (circa £26m ) initial fee, but increasing if he meets 'Spurs expectations' (ie the triggers for 20m extra fees) is a very decent deal - protects against downside risk and we pay more if player is a successful purchase
