You absolutely wouldn't be saying this if last season was a continuation of the 2nd half of 21/22, which may well have been the case with a happy Conte.
"Happy Conte" fucking lol. Was it him being sad about Spence that made him start Son in every match, and play him away from goal. I don't want to watch us play 5 at the back counter attacking football again, even if the manager is very, very happy.

I woukd have give Spence a go still young he will be a good player in a few years. He wants to play don't think his attitude is bad

On the other site there’s reports of him having a bad attitude and when he played for my local club (Middlesbrough) he was also classed as having a bad attitude. Albeit going back a number of years and a different position, he reminds me of Taarabt, talented player but poor attitude = money aside, wasting their career

Maybe. Maybe Spence, a player he didn't want and seems to have been proven right, was the point at where he decided he wanted out. Maybe that triggered behaviours that would ultimately lead to his sacking, which is what he clearly wanted.

Nobody was complaining the football was in any way bad at all from the Burnley game onwards in 21/22 season.
We were scoring 3, 4, 5 goals a game. We utterly destroyed Woolwich at home, played United off the pitch away and lost to CR7 alone etc.
The feeling was great going into 22/23. Title odds were lower than ever.
Yet almost from the get go, questionable decisions started being made on the pitch and repeated. I'm not saying it didn't happen, it did. It's why it happened.

If getting one backup player that he didn't want sent him over the edge then he has the emotional maturity of a turnip.

You keep making excuses for him and his dinosaur football, I'll be here enjoying dominating teams.

So the whole season went to shit because of Spence..... Despite the fact Conte was playing the same 2 Rwbs that got us top 4 the year before?????

Make it make sense.

Huh?
Poch's first season was as "meh" as fuck. Both in terms of transfers and the actual season.

Poch will identify what he needs - He did DURING the season and definitely got some of what he wanted the following window including Toby, Son and Trippier.

We also got rid of a large number of players Poch did not want at the club

Levy will haggle for weeks - not sure if that happened, will have to look it up.

Poch might get what he needs, or he might get an alternative. He got some of what he needed and I'm sure an alternative.

Poch will identify what he doesn't need - Covered above - We got rid of Ade, Kaboul, Lennon, Paulinho, Chiriches, Stambouli, Capoue, Holtby, Callabos, Townsend at the end of Pochs first season.

Levy will try to haggle the highest fee but fail to get it. Those players will clog up the squad - See above

Ange will play swashbuckling 30+ shots a game football.
It may work.

If it doesn't work, 4 or 5 batterings and Levy pulls the trigger _ Poch was boo'd during more than one game in his first 10 games - we picked up 14 from 30, conceded 4 to City, 3 to Liverpool, lost to West Brom and drew with Sunderland - Levy didn't pull the trigger.

So yeah -your scenario might happen but it isn't historically accurate in my opinion.
