So I went into an artisan bakery and asked how much to buy the best loaf of bread in the shop.

"Well, funnily enough I was actually hoping to eat that one myself for breakfast, but you can have it for £10" said the baker.
"What about £6?" I asked.
"No, sorry, it came out so well that I'm not actually keen on selling it at all, but you can have it for £10, as i said".
"What about £7, plus if i like it then I'll come back tomorrow and give you another £1?"
"No I'm sorry, I've already told you, that's not enough, £10 or no deal".

Watching the highlights of the game today… a fair number of Shakhtar’s opportunities came in counters where they got behind our defense.

It is totally clear we need at least one pacy CB in the game at all times.

I am surprised that Dier isn’t on his way out. Ange looks for attributes in CBs that Dier does not possess.

Although he deems davies having those attributes to play him. I’d rather royal in at cb than davies. He needs turfing out.
Having said that getting a bunch of players in isn’t the be all and end all. Looks Chavs last year. We need the team to be organised in and out of poccesion.

Maybe they want a look at Veliz and maybe look at a prem loan instead.

Orban is a striker so far but he needs to develop into an all round forward if he wants to reach his level.

I guess between him and Van de Ven basically the same price VdV fits the Ange archetype a bit better. Killman would’ve been a conte Cb but I’m not sure on his pace or ability to really play on the front foot.
