The problem we have with Son is not about whether he *is* a great player.

It’s whether he *was* a great player.

We might have seen the best of him and at some point we are going to have to be ruthless.
Now this I can go along with - but he was injured last season and everyone was shit. More than earned the benefit of the doubt to see what he's got this season.

But he probably doesn't have many seasons left anyway. If he shows some quality this season, then you could talk me into selling him. Thought, and stated, that both he and Kane should have been sold 2 years ago.

I don't even think he's a top level finisher, like Kane is, he scores great goals, not loads of goals.
This is one of the most ridiculous posts I’ve read on this forum.

Since 2016, he’s had the most goals above xG in Europe’s top 5 leagues. He was golden boot winner and then scored 12 goals last season despite playing through a serious injury which eventually required surgery.

Your agenda against him is repetitive and boring. I remember he did an interview saying he turned down a Saudi offer as money wasn’t important to him. Clear sign of loyalty. Yet a week later you posted on this thread we should try and sell him to Saudi anyway 🤦‍♂️

He’s only 31. Son absolutely has another 20 goal season in him. His pace and finishing is still there.
Well, we’ll soon see.

I have zero issue with Son starting the season. I do have an issue with him starting every game when he fails to do anything. A lot of that was likely down to Conte, who was clearly an utterly unimaginative hierarchical tool.

But Solomon has looked useful and certainly deserving of starts.

I don’t think Ange will tolerate passengers.

What’s racist about that? Rude man
Your post implies that getting rid of Son will result in fewer South Korean fans which is good for the atmosphere.
So why is that?
Because they don’t look like you, speak funny and don’t behave in the manner that you demand. They don’t sing your songs, get pissed up and talk about ‘that day in 1991 when we ran Chelsea down the High Road’. They behave differently. They’re enthusiastic flag-wavers who don’t boo Davinson Sanchez and will probably enjoy the day regardless of the result. How dare they? Worse, your mate Keith’s son couldn’t get a ticket.
Culturally, Koreans treat sports differently. Not everyone is going to behave in a manner you expect or demand. You don’t control the right way to enjoy a football match. If you owned a passport, I’d suggest that you take in a baseball game in Seoul and enjoy that cultural difference but the idea is clearly wasted on you.
You’re a petty, xenophobic bigot. Too bad that you don’t even see it.
