TBH I'd prefer to upgrade Lo Celso who is either injured or wanting to check when next Argentia match.

In the first 2 and a half years he only completed 90 mins in 7 PL matches ....... let that sink in ..... due mainly to those 2 issues

So that leaves :

Bissouma, White, Skipp, Sarr, Maddison and hopefully a fit Bentancur.

So if Bentancur doesn't get back to pre-injury form quickly, we are very susceptible to injuries if Hojbjerg not replaced
Lo Celso has looked very commited in pre-season, so I think he's happy and excited to play for us now. I also wouldn't count Harvey White. He's nowhere near ready to play for us (maybe he'll never be). That leaves us with Bentancur - Bissouma - Sarr - Skipp - Maddison - Lo Celso. That's more than enough depth for a team who will play once per week this season.

I don't even think it's as simple as Kane thinking about signing on fees and a pick of clubs next summer.

I think he's probably a bit annoyed that Bayern, who said the wanted him, have waited until now to really put in a serious offer (and even then, it's still a bit low), also for the fact that he probably does respect the club and Ange and knows by leaving now, he's disrespecting them a little bit.

If Kane had just come out and said he flat out wants to leave a few weeks back. This would have got done.

Isn't it just blatantly Kane using his power in the negotiation to get more out of Bayern?

Lo Celso will ... he's hoping some mug will give him another contract as he's only 2 years left on this one.

It takes a genius to only be able to complete 90 mins in 7 PL matches in 2 and a half years ..... so I'm not expecting him to complete that many this coming season, the Argentinian pull is too strong, and he'd have to have a life changing experience to rdform his attitude.

So absolutely fatal to put trust in him. So far he's let everyone down at Spurs.

Bissouma, we hope and pray, will be back to pre-injury form asap, but that could be the other side of Christmas.

If we don't replace Hojbjerg, we need to hop that the likes of Kulusevski can play as an 8 where necessary and/or we try out youngsters.

We'd likley be a better proposition for incoming players next summer too.

If GLC struggles or Bentancur can't get up to speed then we can review in Jan as necessary.

For sure..... Different point though, mate.
