Not content with being bodied on such a incomprehensible scale, he later claimed Richarlison may need an op, only for it to be refuted directly by Richy himself within hours
Fair play to him though, he’s sticking to his guns on that one, directly refuting Richy’s claims about his own supposed injury
“He can deny it as much as he wants”
Perhaps he really is better informed than Richarlison himself? It’s the only logical conclusion.
Vicario - Big improvement on the Lloris we saw last season. Very comfortable on ball and a few good saves in pre-season
Maddison - Excellent purchase - probably the best creative player we could have bought. Already showing how his creativity can improve our attack with assists and goals. Will be key for us this season.
Van de Ven - Meets Ange requirement for a defender perfectly - very fast, aggressive in his play good header, Added bonus that he captained Dutch u21's so maybe leadership qualities at the back. Step up from Dutch league and Wolfsburg so might take time to adjust, but very good long term.
Solomon - A lot more end product shown in pre-season than Moura showed on average over last few years, so a definite improvement Has speed and can play as either ring winger or left winger. Adds variety to our attacking options ..... might even be a long term Son replacement.
Udogie - Yes I know e bought him a year ago but this is the first time he will play for us. Looks to be a great find as a LB, fast and with end product, better defensively than Perisic, really like what we have seen so far.
Phillips - England u18 captain and has played E u19's - promoted a year above. Tall and powerfully built. Made 14 appearances for Blackburn, 8 in Championship so he's 'raw' but I hope Ange uses him selectively. Could be a real gem
Veliz - Argentine u20, so very young. Over 50 appearances in Argentine top leahue with 17 goals. Youtube can only show you so much, but he looks promising. I think Ange uses him sparingly this season - but lets see.
Summary
Window is not closed yet, and we have a first team already - just a question of whether any new players coming in can help upgrade the squad.
Obviously we assess the Kane position in the coming days/weeks
But we've bought 4 first team players - but have 5 new first team potential starters (20% of a 25 man squad) - with 2 very decent youngsters who might also make an impression on the first team.
So numbers wise we are doing fine with our additions - another couple extra would be even better.
Despite all the naysayers we have addressed the main weaknesses in the fist team with GK, CB, creative player and winger plus our new LB, which is very good news. Obviously any new players coming in to add decent depth (eg CB|) is welcome.
Still work to be done, especially on outgoings (which will otherwise be a drain on our resources) and hopefully a couple to come in. And the window is open for at least 2 more weeks.
But even so far, its a healthy 7/10 on the window so far, because we have brought players in areas we needed to strengthen, and decent numbers coming in.

Thing there is that didn’t lane himself say if he was still here fir the Brentford gane he would stay fir the season? What was his cut off point? Club reject last Fridays bid on Monday. He played Sunday but then didn’t go to barca. So what has changed inhis timeline? Is it a dbl bluff by the club and him to make both look like they look good to the fans? If the bud is not much more than what was previously reported then why accept today but reject Monday? Doesn’t make much sense. It’s almost like the club don’t want him to go and he doesn’t want to go. However they know there is a deal to be made which will the club done money now rather than nothing next year. Dammed if you do and dammed if you don’t.
