If Kane does go got a good feeling with Orban. People were trotting out the "he's doing it in a farmer league" rhetoric with Haaland at RB Salzburg, some players you watch them and you can just see they're gonna be a star one day. Better to go get them before they're worth 100m!
I've seen people compare him to Patson Daka, as he also scored a lot but in the Austrian league.

Personally, I ilke to see how they also do in Europe and Orban has 9 goals in 8 games so far Vs Daka, who had 5 in 26 and only 6 games (and 1 goal) of those were in the CL.

Don't think he is ready to be 1st choice but could be our "Solskjaer" in the short term.

Have to say. Very troubling to not see any outgoing business concluded whatsoever between June and August 8th (Rodon on the 9th). Yes, it’s good that we got Veliz and Van de Ven in, but the fact that we’ve got to shift 6-7 players and buy 2-3 more in only three weeks, with the season already underway, is borderline malpractice

VdV already shit, then? 2 training sessions - that's gotta be a new record.
He is going to have to be Superman to live up to the expectations this fanbase is placing on him, his role as the lynchpin of Ange’s high line is an incredibly demanding one. We all saw how much the CBs had to cover vs Barça.

It would be nice to have another capable high line CB to take the pressure off him

We should expect nothing less!

It blows my mind that Moises Caicedo goes for more than Harry Kane. I know Harry only had one year left on his desk, but Caicedo isn’t prime Luka Modric or anything.
Enzo Fernandez broke the market for DMs.

Another way Boehly is ruining football. Suddenly Enzo (an overrated jack of all trades master of none riding off World Cup hype) has to cost £120m because he’s omg so good. Then now, Rice is £105m and Caicedo £110m.

Absolute unfiltered lunacy.

Was Caicedo even better than Bissouma for Brighton? Really think about it.

PAUL NEWMAN'S FAN'S VIEW: Accepting a bid for Harry Kane on the eve of the season is an act of cowardice from Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy

  • It is cowardly for Daniel Levy to accept a bid for Harry Kane at this stage
  • If Kane leaves for Bayern Munich all the summer's good work will be undone

It is a dereliction of duty. It is totally disrespectful to every Spurs supporter and a new manager in Ange Postecoglou who has been a breath of fresh air this summer after the expensive frauds appointed to run our team since 2019. It’s typical Daniel Levy.

To accept a bid on the brink of the season for arguably the greatest player in Spurs’ rich history and currently the best striker in the world for a price that doesn’t even buy you a workmanlike midfielder like Declan Rice these days is an act of hooliganism.

And then to apparently leave it to Harry Kane to decide, therefore abdicating all responsibility and blame should he finally choose to go to Bayern.

Dissent against Levy and his ENIC stooges is at an all-time high among the majority of Spurs supporters, not just a noisy minority, and it will only take a poor start to this season to bring on open mutiny at the magnificent but seemingly jinxed stadium Levy built.

He could have silenced that in one fell swoop. He could have told Bayern it is way too late to come up with something like an acceptable bid (Kane is priceless as far as I’m concerned).

If he had done that Levy would have had Spurs fans back on his side in an instant.

There is genuine optimism now we could really be on to something under Postecoglou.

At the very least we are going to play proper, attacking football again and that’s all that Spurs fans realistically want this season.

If Levy pushes Kane out of the door now — and it really does seem as though it is Spurs pushing more than Harry being determined to go to Germany so that he does not walk out on a free next summer — all that good summer work will be wasted before the season has begun.
What's this bullshit I keep reading about leaving it up to Kane to decide being a slight at us? What should the club do, cuff him and march him over there and hand him over to the fucking gestapo? Isn't this just how all transfers work?

There's enough legitimate criticisms to make of the club, why does this keep being added?

If Levy wants to show that he cares a bit about this club (he won't), he'd get on the phone to Kolo Muani and Orban the instant Kane signs for Bayern. I like Richarlison, I thought he was extremely unlucky last season and with all the goals that he got disallowed he showed decent finishing (especially against Forest), but we can't rely on him alone to be the number 9 for us. Veliz and Scarlett probably aren't ready.
