Judging by Ange's comments about Veliz being unlikely to get minutes early in the season, I suspect Dane Scarlett is likely to the backup CF on the bench.

Albeit we are more likely to move Son there if Richarlison isn't getting it done.

Scarlett has been with the first team group since Ange arrived, and should have a very good idea of how our coach wants the CF role to be played.

Plus Scarlett is physically much stronger than before his loan, presses with pace & energy, and is a composed finisher.

Could be right.

Scarlett wasn't in the U21 squad today.

I mean, juggle the pack however the gaffa sees fit (loans etc.) and yeh, buy Orban if the Ange is keen, but Rich/Son + 1 works for me (whoever you choose to play a bit part).

Again; no Europe = less game-time and rotation.

......And remember; apparently peeps desperately want a cup so we can't afford to be charitable with game-time there either.

I agree completely ...... eze for me is decent player but not consistent enough and goes missing too often in matches to warrant such a high fee. Yes those elements can be improved with coaching (and we actually have a proper COACH now ) however as he is right now feel he is a bit too overhyped to justify 50/70M.

I'll reserve judgement on Vicario until January but I have some doubts. Understand that he was one of the better performing GKs in Serie A last season, and that he's just breaking into his national team squads... still think we're missing an elite, monster GK.

We need another CB. Not Tapsoba. Let the Toon 'hijack' him. Off-load Dier. Keep Sanchez + Davies as squad options. Phillips until January to assess. Tanganga: fine to keep as 3rd/4th choice fullback.

I worry that we're still lacking pace up top, but I can't help the feeling that we have an incredible player in Destiny Udogie.

I agree, think the keeper was a cheaper alternative signing, he doesn't look great to me.

He probably did but think he hired him just because it was convenient for both parties and to buy time and to probably appease Kane.
