I’d have liked to see him switch to the left for a bit yesterday. He could maybe cross a bit earlier that way or go to the bye line, cutback a bit easier.

I actually admired Beni for his honesty. And as you say, it had no negative impact on his performances. Must have taken a lot of guts (or maybe a lot of 'fuck you, I say what I like and don't care what anyone thinks') to make such an admission... Good on him.

Basically; he can't do what you said; so either he's a back-up to Maddison or you get rid.; but don't expect a player equally as good as Maddison to sit on his arse all season waiting for JM to get injured.
