We will still finish above them. Their dressing room will be poison as they have too many players that all think they will play. We have a big squad but about 15 of them know they won’t play even a handful of games.

I actually admired Beni for his honesty. And as you say, it had no negative impact on his performances. Must have taken a lot of guts (or maybe a lot of 'fuck you, I say what I like and don't care what anyone thinks') to make such an admission... Good on him.

Basically; he can't do what you said; so either he's a back-up to Maddison or you get rid.; but don't expect a player equally as good as Maddison to sit on his arse all season waiting for JM to get injured.
