I’m not negative about him, generally I think Argies are decent - technically good, spiky and hard working but I’ve not seen this kid. I would like to see him and Devine get chances this season based on blind optimism and a fatigue with our more established players who aren’t doing it

Spurs have just sold their greatest ever goal scorer without replacing him with a player that will at least score 10-15 goals. When Jan comes and we are forced to drop the money we got for Kane on Toney will that make your spending table look better.

So the fact we sold Harry Kane and at the moment the replacement is a 19 year old who has had half a season in Argentina. We do not have enough goals in our team. The fact the football is going to be better is going to be of poor comfort if we cannot get more goals into the team.

This is your assumption , not a Fact and we will get closer to knowing the answer to that after a few more games. The thing is its near on impossible to replace Harry, we aren't going to find another Goal scorer like him, however we just need to find the right System to play that will allow us to not rely on 1 Goal Scorer and lets be honest thats a good thing!
Harry didn't want to sign a new contract so for Once I think levy done the right thing by getting top money for him, now lets see if he uses that money as extra transfer funds or we get shafted and find out its already been spent.
That was the case. No problem with that investment but they should have modelled in some form of player investment to the overall business case. A massive missed opportunity - that was the point in time Lewis should have injected a one-off amount in players to maximise our position of strength (stellar first 11) alongside the long term stadium. The club would be worst more and we would have almost certainly made that 250M back in addtl revenue IMO
I actually think the reason we didn’t spend was not a lack of money, but more so Levy personally focusing on the stadium which again shows an inability of the megalomaniac to delegate
