Think he needs engage his brain with the rest of his body more. Atm looks abd behaves thick as two short planks and will defo cost us.

I used to be in awe he was such a stern negotiator, but now it's just depressing every transfer window especially when we bring in new managers.

I wish he would leave transfers to people who know better, give them a budget, and work with them find reasonable solutions to shifting unrequired players. He meddles too much at the detriment of managers, the players and the club

Bet we didn’t cross him off because of his past, though.

Levy was probably still dithering over whether to progress his interest to the “preparing a bid” stage but figured it was still a bit early in the window.
 
So in terms of our attacking options we've basically sold our top ever goalscorer and talisman and bought in Manor Solomon. With less than 2 weeks of the window left. So thats good.

Meanwhile we continue to do the same annual dance off with Sanchez, Tanganga and Ndombele that we've done for at least 3 years. Poor old Ange.
 
remarkable we haven’t moved on more players. We really should have taken a different approach this summer - perhaps paying agents retainers and % incentives to move players on, or simply banishing players from the first team (suspect Ange wanted to give em a chance first to be fair).

Have to sell to buy…

Can’t bring anyone in until we shift these players that we have needed to shift for 3 or 4 years now…

Thing is at worse they'll be loaned, probably until their contracts are up. No one thinks Ndombele or Reggie or Tanganga will be here come 2nd September. So as per usual its just bollocks excuses. They've had 3 months to sort this, we should be down to the last 1 or 2 stragglers by now. We're run like a Sunday pub side.

Exactly.

We are waiting for buyers that we know aren't coming at the expense of backing a new manager attempting to completely rebuild a completely mismanaged squad.

They will be going on loan, they know that, we know that, so just bring the players in asap send them out on loan.
