What’s laughable is how we could have got a better transfer fee by selling him to another prem club on the grounds that we won’t sell to ‘rivals ‘. In what universe are we seriously rivalling the current top four ?! Levy is delusional.

I’d have preferred selling him up north to citeh or the geordies to help prevent chelscum or the arseholes winning the league.

I looked at both lineups and instantly recognised pretty much all of Bayern's team including their subs, then looked at Bremen and was like, who???

Like you say, Kane will monster that league once Bayern gel with him, where is that league now ranked globally? I know Ligue 1 from France has dropped below the Dutch league, surely Bundesliga is worse than both of those??

No chance
It's been 20 years since a French or dutch team has won the CL or Europa.
German clubs have won both in recent times

We are trying to compete with these teams mate, we're not some little team like Bournemouth who are happy to be in the Prem, we are actually trying to be where these teams are so what sense does it make to make them stronger and make us weaker in the process?

Selling him to Newcastle lol absolutely pathetic.

The fact that you want to stop Woolwich and Chelsea as opposed to wanting us to improve sums up where you are right now.

I don’t need a lecture from you. I’ve supported the club for over 40 years. You’re entitled to your opinions, so no need for personal attacks. As much as I’d like the club to be competitive I don’t see any evidence of this being the case.

Cramp. Judging by this, If he doesn’t score 50 I would be amazed.

Bremen were such a nothing team. They’d get slaughtered in the championship let alone the Prem. It’s impossible to not sound like a jilted ex boyfriend , but what’s the point of winning this league ? Leipzig, Dortmund and Leverkusen are okay I guess, the rest are pure dross . Bayern win most games by virtue of having a few pacey, powerful players most of the rest of the league can’t live with.
Kane has moved for a meaningless title and an outside chance of winning the champions league. He should have seen out his contract. Sad he was so desperate to get away but it’s hard to blame him after the last few years of mismanagement.
The Bayern Munich League

What I think overshadows the good things we might be doing in the transfer windows recently, is the story of Sanchez and Dier. They where already struggeling at the end of the Poch days, as backup. When Jan and Toby left, they were moved up to become first choices. Now we are on the fourth manager since then, and they are still here! It’s hard to believe in rebuilds when we keep players in the core of our team that don’t have any hope of becoming great players anymore.

Irrespective of whether your point holds any weight or not, why on earth would you want to sell to the clubs that you want to eventually compete with?!? Proper daft innit

I think it's worth remembering that if an owner has viable alternatives to buying from Daniel Levy, they will choose that option. Why would anyone want to suffer the pain of haggling with Levy over a player that isn't even very good?

I think the biggest gripe is, we were told the stadium would take us to the next level, enable to compete at the top and attract top tier talent.

That's probably true, if the club was run properly, I'm not anti Daniel Levy, I'm just anti Daniel Levy interfering in football matters, he pays people to make the decisions, yet can't let them do their job.

I imagine he's an awful micro managing person in reality, and seems to love to move goal posts in the final hours.

I honestly think he has an over inflated opinion of the club under his stewardship. Just wish he would let someone else have total control over transfers and leave the football side of decisions to them, he can carry on improving the actual infrastructure as let's be honest he's smashed that bit out of the park. Under his reign we have definitely become a much larger global brand with awesome facilities, but God damn he needs to leave the football side alone

Thing is at worse they'll be loaned, probably until their contracts are up. No one thinks Ndombele or Reggie or Tanganga will be here come 2nd September. So as per usual its just bollocks excuses. They've had 3 months to sort this, we should be down to the last 1 or 2 stragglers by now. We're run like a Sunday pub side.

So why are other clubs going to rush to loan our discarded players early in the window ?

All those clubs are looking fir best players they can get and will only go on to look at the less good players we have as discards at the end of the window.

And the major block to the transfers are probably player needs - Lloris wanting to be No 1 GK, or other players wanting to go to top clubs as after Spurs they want to ensure they are at a top club paying top wages.

Hence at end of the window, other clubs are looking at our discards.

I assume because they believe their is zero chance of the club ever competing with them while we are owned by Joe Lewis and ENIC so schadenfreude kicks in and knowing how good Kane is, a Kane at City, United or Newcastle would make it harder for Arse or Chavs to win the league.
