There might be two or three teams in the world who aren’t short. Every other team has areas which can clearly be upgraded or who can improve their bench.
City, Chelsea (!) and Real Madrid. Everyone else is left « short » .

Not the same thing as being left short.Every other team has areas which can clearly be upgraded or who can improve their bench.
He seems to be quite good at picking the right ball to send in from the right to cause danger. He doesn't just hoof some speculative prayer in there.
Hmmm… my view is that the problem hasn’t been Levy « leaving us short » though. The problem has been hiring managers who need a very specific type of expensive player in every position to win football matches (in a boring way). Not the same thing as being left short.
The question is are there enough players capable of meaningfully executing the manager's tactics to cover all the competitions where the club wishes to compete.
Five years at least since that answer at Spurs has been "yes", during a period of a win-now, short term mentality. Just egregious, unforgivable failure.
It is a bit different now with a longer term mindset under Ange. But we're due some strengthening nonetheless.
The biggest complaints should really be around the style of play and the managerial appointments which have been really bad. I’ve been critical of Levy for those things. It’s a serious failure of leadership
If the next managerial appointment is a progressive appointment who trusts young players then we will quickly see an improvement in playing style and results.
42 mill euro release clause, not a bad shout at allIs Bilbao the club that its impossible to do business with?
I wouldn't mind Nico Williams.

I can’t make you see the difference between the players Mourinho and Conte required and the players Ange will get a tune out of.But that's the same thing.
You hire those managers, you give them the tools required.
If Ange is going to accomplish anything, he will also require major investment in well-chosen players.
And I can't make you see what utter dogshit those two were forced to make do with.I can’t make you see the difference between the players Mourinho and Conte required and the players Ange will get a tune out of.
Taiwo Awoniyi might be a better option from Forest than Johnson.
Ange on Transfer window: "I reckon there'll be a lot happening before the window shuts. How much I'm going to be involved, I'm not really sure, but I've got a feeling there'll be a fair bit of activity this week."

I’m really unconvinced Orban is gonna do much for us if signed. He’s very small and raw. I view him as a Udogie or Sarr type signing where we keep him on loan another season, he’s far closer to Veliz than coming into start.
£70m for both

Liverpool are after Doucoure by the way.
We'll probably wait until next Summer when Eze has 1 year left on his contract.
If we have a CF deal that we can pull the trigger on, it really feels like the best future for our 60M investment in Richarlison is a loan deal.I just can't see the club giving up on their Richarlison investment yet especially given the pressure that comes with replacing kane
