I don't get the Dier-Fulham guy swap.
Obviously Ange likes Sanchez on the bench but I will be fuming if he is still at the club after the window closes.

what i dont get in modern football is this huge demand for tranfers insted of using youth system
i mean i dont know alot about a tottenham youth players , but should it not be our goal to have players from our youth ?
maby our youth players are shit if anybody knows more please let me know

Ange seems fairly relaxed that things will happen next week but we've heard it all before from various managers and then been left disappointed.

6 days to go.

Hard to imagine we shift 5-6 and bring in 2-3.

A CB that can play on the left has to be first priority.

I'm all for using the youth after they've been blooded by a loan or two, throwing them straight to the Prem is a huge step up, and a gamble.

Agreed, but further to that - we hit such a low last season that despite how good we've looked early doors, the fanbase was very much prepared for this to be a project under Ange and not demand success (top 4 or otherwise) this season.

Then again, we know the nature of football. If we keep on like these first three games then we may well risk the fanbase revising their season expectations...

My expectation for this season was top six and a good go at the cups from the moment last season ended. That expectation hasn't changed with either the arrival of Postecoglou or the departure of Harry Kane.

You don't get anywhere in football with ready-made excuses for under-achievement. That was the story of last season. Postecoglou is doing well because he plays to win every match. The team is doing well because we now have players who want to win every match. That's all there is to it.

There is no such thing as a project in football. Glenn Hoddle was a project manager. Two mid-table finishes with a desperately demotivated squad and he was out on his ear.

I'm not a big fan of his but IMO we should try to sign Lautaro Martinez. The striker market is crap but he's probably the best we can get and he'd be a LOT better than Richarlison.

We have Son, Perisic, Solomon & Gil (+ Rich).....

That's not enough LWs?
I'm not a big fan of Son or Richarlison on the left, I don't know where the hell Gil is and Perisic is good as a bench option only for me. Solomon's alright (I think) but I want someone better on the left and then have one of Son or Richarlison down the middle.

Gil is just about ready to get back to training AFAIK.

He would be better than Richarlison but he definitely wouldn't be the answer, not with Son and Kulusevski up there with him. I'm not a huge fan of Martinez either, but if he was to be considered it would be more that Son, outside left remit, with a hold up guy as the 9. That's how he's always been best at Inter, with Lukaku or Dzeko up there doing the heavy lifting.
