Yes that is what I have been saying. Why splunk £50M on someone whose fast ok abd scired 8 goals last season for a team that generally plays on the counter. We need a proper CF as we have quality midfiekd which help create chances. Spend on a proper goal scorer and CB.
Until Darwin scored two just was thinking cheeky loan bid. Has much better technical ability than rich. Back to Johnson underwhelming and over priced. Sure Solomon could do a job.

Yeah agree but that’s on the coach tbh. I expected more from Conte - his Chelsea side were bold and good to watch. I think Mou probably sold Levy a different style too eg not Mou 2.0 but quickly defaulted to protocol.

Darwin looks like he’s lost half a stone of muscle, v lean. Was too big and strong last season. One to watch

I think deep down Ange knows his crap but is giving him a chance as he cost £60M just last season. However o have no doubt he’ll dump him soon as he can. Best place would be Saudi league as I can’t see anyone in the PL would even pay 10M for him. In fact aoart from May be a few teams at the bottom which other PL team would have him as a starting CF?

Probably a ruse. Most of our recent signings have been under the radar

In our system he will have flexibility to move around and find space anyway

Not like under Conte when players weren’t allowed to cross the half way line, and were only allowed to pass the ball a la his automations
