My mates nan is a massive Augsburg fan and she says he’s the best thing since Haaland. Absolute goal scoring powerhouse and an unmissable, must get talent. We simply have to get this guy. Pace, power, technique, everything.

(My mate’s nan is dead).
Thank you, this will help me a lot. Now I'll know what to parrot whenever this player gets brought up on TFC.

PS: Rip to your nan
PPS: she must get some great views of the pitch from up there.

Edwards meant to be a shit training player tho

He had some issues with Pochettino who wanted to keep him in the cupboard under his stairs for three years until head learnt to doff his forelock properly.

At most subsequent clubs he's been a good trainer. Absolutely eats, sleeps and breathes football. Unlike most English players was also prepared to take the big step to go abroad and develop (although more are doing this now).

Surely his job is to report on Spurs, not the transfers of Spurs? :ange-confused:

It would make less sense to go on holiday while we have matches, he needs to report on. Including press conferences, injuries and what have you.

Edit: Just realised that he obviously is now on holiday while there's matches AND the transfer window :ange-facepalm2: I'm an idiot :ange-facepalm: Right now of all times makes zero sense for a holiday, I'll grant that.
He's gone on a family holiday in the school Summer break. He can't just drag his kid(s) out of school for a holiday just because there's a match on.

If Forest is in FFP trouble, we could get up to some funny business with Sanchez going the other way.

Forest collect a big loan fee for Johnson now, and also get Sanchez now with his acquisition cost amortized over the length of his deal, and we have an obligation to purchase on 1 July next year that hits Forest's 24/25 books as pure profit since he's homegrown.

Sanchez priced at 20M, five year contract, hits at 4M each season.

10M loan fee up front for Johnson (net +6M for Forest's 23/24 accounts), then 20M obligated next July (net +16M for Forest's 24/25 accounts).

That's a "50M deal for Brennan Johnson".

Or we could loan-to-buy Sanchez and reverse the whole thing. Dunno what the time schedule is of Forest's money concern.
Is that you Fabio?!

Did the trial teach you nothing?!

Sonny got 1 assist and 4 goals in his first season in prem for context

8G and 3A in a poor team from Brennan Johnson in his 1st prem season ain't that bad, might not be 50m but that's the HG tax.

We need pace and some more goals, he will give us both.

Aswell as the tactical aspect of him being a right footed RWer gives us another dimension.
Thought Ange likes to play inverted wingers? If he wants to play a right footer there then why not give Son a few minutes out there during games. He also seems reluctant to give Solomon minutes on right as well. Although when he came on last in right he looked good. I don’t get this pace/right footer narrative all of a sudden. We have enough wide me as it is plus we could change formation every now and then depending on the oppo and play 4312. I’d much rather we get a quality CB this window befire prices go up next year. We can find players like Johnson ten a penny some other time. £50M on right does seem like good business. We need a CB and a goal scorer and prbly another quality midfiekder so that we don’t have play skipp as an 8. A role he is totally unsuited to.

I think we can do with a dedicated CF to challenge Richy rather than try and fit square pegs in round holes.
Don't think Ange thinks that way though, outfield players dedicated to a single position don't seem to float his boat...he doesn't seem that fussed on the whole concept of pegs and holes either. He seems to want players that are comfortable playing anywhere on the pitch where they are needed.

So far this season we've had full backs playing as DMs, wingers and strikers. On Saturday we had our main creative outlet playing as an extra DM...
