Same story, year in, year out: Two or three decent games then he collapses like Fraser Forster in a penalty shootout and he spends the next few games sliding around like a lubed seal.
It's terrifying that him and Dier could still be here next week.
We need better quality up front. A wide player who can dribble and beat his man 1v1 and a proper quality striker to replace Kane. None of this Brennan Johnson stuff, he isn't any better than what we already have - mid to decent wingers that are largely not quite good enough. CB depth is grim too really.

doku is still quick and can produce there is a difference and thats why city got him
I’d have pushed him out the club first week of the window.
Doku has missed 50 games in the last two seasons due to injury and has scored 10 goals and got 7 assists in the last FOUR years.
I like Doku, he's exciting. But in the same way Saint Maximin is. Lightning quick, great dribbler. Has produced absolutely nothing of note in a nothing league and missed more games due to injury than Ledley King
To turn your nose up at Fati due to injuries, despite him missing less games and producing more in a better league is hilarious.

Diaby I agree with but I would take Johnson over Kudus and Barnes. Doku has had a very injury plagued young career so far, so would have been a massive risk plus once City got involved, there was 0 chance in him coming here.

Cannot go into the rest of this season being one injury away from depending on Sanchez, Dier or Tanganga, it's frightening and inexcusable.
Not can we depend on richarlison, aside from goal tonight he was abysmal and nowhere near the level required.
Busy few days ahead hopefully, take a small hit on a few , esp if loans and get 3 to 4 in, striker, CH, pacy winger and a mid if few moved on.
