If Fati does well enough that Barca are desperate to have him back, then most likely he’s scored 10-15 goals for us and if that happens most likely we’ll finish in the top 5 and be playing CL next season, so he might want to stay regardless.

The thing that does make me happy is that Ange supposedly called him and sees him as a big star.

He could absolutely be our Kyogo, smart mover in behind the defense, great touch and interplay

Veliz is like Udogie and Sarr.

they bought him with 2 years down the line in mind.
He is 1 year younger than Fati and scored more league goals than Fati ever did, albeit in a weaker league, blocking his development for a loan player who isn't even a striker really doesn't make sense for me.
Sure he needs time to adjust to life in England, but what are we gonna do after January, when he'll want to play, block him for a loanee?

But why Fati? Why a player who was dubbed the new messi? Why a player who on your view is elite? You know why. He’s an injury crok.

The worst injury a footballer can get is a knee injury. And he’s got the worse kind even before his career has even started.

He didn't miss any time with injury last year. Underlying stats were also pretty fucking good last year too.

Look, the knee injury is part of the decision. That's why a loan makes sense.

Not just my view that Fati is an elite talent. He is.

Put it this way, Bentancur is back in September but had a knee injury. If he plays a bit part role until the end of the season but hasn't played 90min week in week out.

Would you prefer to sell him or loan him next summer?

Would you expect him to be a good player for any club on loan next season?

Veliz is probably going on loan in January after he has done English lessons and got settled into the club.

Fati and Veliz aren't really players you can compare in terms of senior football.

Fati’s been playing in La Liga and CL for four years, this kid’s had one season in Argentina. He needs games. I really hope we sort him a loan in Europe or the Championship.

We can’t mess him up like we did Foyth who’d barely played in Argenina when we bought him. Then we sat him for years and complained when he looked raw when he got the odd game here and there.

Fati experienced a challenging season marked by injuries and a dip in form in 2022. Despite being fit in the latter half of the campaign, playing time was scarce underBarcelona coach. Consequently, rumors circulated that the La Masia graduate might be leaving this summer. However, the 20-year-old has firmly dismissed these speculations, expressing his commitment to succeeding with the Blaugrana. Fati closed the previous season on a high note, netting several goals in the final few fixtures - and finished with ten goals and four assists to his name in the last season,

Plays anywhere across front line - often off left wing, can play right wing as well

Bentancur hasn’t had a chunk of his knee ripped out
