Veliz is more highly rated in international circles than Scarlett. He’s had almost as much time at Spurs under Ange as Scarlett.
He has to get used to a new country and a new language. Beyond that, I don’t understand how Scarlett can play in all London Cup game and Veliz is nowhere to be seen. Either we should have sent Scarlett out on loan weeks ago or Veliz should be playing in some capacity. .

Cause it will do nothing for him. He'll get more out of training matches with the first team. The most he'll get out of it is some match fitness.

Thing is, Veliz played a full 90 minutes of senior football this month. He's made over 20 starts this season (by his calendar).

I think it's okay if they take a bit of time with him. I hope that doesn't mean zero first team appearances, but if he hasn't played much and winds up getting a January loan, off the back of a couple U21 appearances to stay match sharp, I'm not panicking.

The question with a loan is where?

Scarlett will go out on loan this summer.

Veliz will go in January.

This is one of the dumber debates in this thread in a while.
