I mean, you cant have few players you wont register and still you need to pay them for not playing. Furthemore, you are waiting till last second for Johnson like he is Mbappe. All for what, few millions down? And no CB yet. I really enjoyed your football under Ange, but with this squad i cant see Tottenham in top 4, not because your players arent that good, yes they are, but suspensions and injuries will come and you will be f up. We like shiny, new things to play with. It’s probably a human trait because almost every club’s supporters do the same thing.
It’s the same reason that we praise the non-participants like Spence (and Rodon for years).
And then the shiny, new things tarnish and we want shinier and newer.
I don’t think we tolerate mediocrity any more than other clubs. Our expectations have risen and fallen over the years depending on our circumstances. I can’t think of another set of supporters that has booed so many of its own players over the decades. Of course, I’ve never attended other team’s games as regularly.
Kelly plus Schurrs instead of Sanchez and Dier would by ok.

Spot on, embarrassing
The stadium was never the game changer. We are spending more but everyone else is spending more too. We still have one of the lowest wages/turnover ratios in the league and we never compete with our rivals for the best players just like we didn't when in the smaller WHL.
