No idea if this guy is any good but can't help but feel excited about the clubs transfer direction in recent times.
Veliz, Phillips and now this guy. Proper building for the future through youth development. Add to that other young domestic talents like Dorrington, Donley, Devine. It feels great to have that back at Spurs. Feels like we neglected it for so long.

Feels like we now have such a large stock of young, highly rated players that there a good chance that we manage to get at least one decent CB or striker out of the bunch. Decent as in actually good enough start for us regularly, not Tanganga or Winks level.
If we can stop buying duds for £60m, that will also go a long way.

I think he's actually eligible under the new GBE rules which came into effect in June 2023 GBE Criteria update
The purpose of which seems to make it legal to transfer the best kids aged between 16-18 to PL academies.
Possible but as he is aged 16, seems unlikely to me he'd be 3rd CB, although he looked in clips I've seen of him playing in Croatia, but PL a big jump ?.
I'd have thought that Phillips playing a few games in Championship, a lot tougher league than Croatia and 2 years older would be better equipped for PL (purely on strength of Championship v Croatian League) ?
Might have offered him a few first team appearances conceivably
