Has around a goal every two games over his entire club career. Significantly more than that in international football.It’s been crossing my mind for a few weeks out of utter desperation but I wasn’t brave enough to be the one to suggest it!
And whilst he’s getting on a bit, every time I see him play he has at least two defenders around him, freeing up space for other players.
We’d get two or three years out of him whilst our younger strikers get up to speed. Maybe half the price of a far less proven Solanke (who, granted, I also like).
I just think he struggles to a move about the pitch and that’s his biggest problem.

From 1.20 - 1.27 really sealed it for me with Nick Montogomery, guy clearly is at the peak of innovative thinking in football.
