Rutter is not a wide forward but a CF - the 2nd CF they bought this summer, João Pedro being the other one. Maybe they regret not selling Evan Ferguson for £100m 2 seasons ago 🤔
But B & H sure don't want to run out of WF's though...coz they've bought 5 WFs this TW:
Ibrahim Osma, Amario Cozier-Duberry, Yankuba Minteh, Brajan Gruda, and Adrian Mazilu.
They already had him and tbh it could be him they're cashing in on.

Pretty sure their new manager plays 5-2-3 with WBs.

In the winger/AM/Forward positions they already have:
Joao Pedro
Ferguson
Welbeck
March
Minteh
Mitoma
Gruda
Adingra
Enciso
Osman
Sarmiento
Mazilu
Cozier-Duberry

I wonder if the recruitment team are hold in the tactical board upside down.
Or maybe Fabian Hürzeler got inspired by Osvaldo Ardiles' all-attack tactics

Spurs could do worse - but also do better - by going after Callum Doyle and James McAtee (for decent fees and no buy-back clauses) even though both are relatively untested on the highest level. Both are left-footed.
Doyle can play both LB & LCB.
McAtee can play as CAM & RWF. I know he's got his defensive short-comings (which are more due his lack of defensive fiber than lack of tracking back).

Doyle joined Norwich on loan.

I just cant get my head around why any Tottenham fan is happy with another beige season of 5th to 8th (hey maybe even 4th if a few others mess up) and perhaps a cup run until we play someone decent. Its got really fucking boring. Apart from the 2 or 3 Poch years when we looked a serious side we've had 20 years of it now. No one is demanding the title, all we want is the vision and ambition to at least compete seriously. We've got so stale, the board, club and fanbase.
Yes, exactly. During the Poch years, for the most part we were a force to be reckoned with. If Ange gets the boot we need daddy back :pochcry:
