Indeed people at the club would have questioned why having spent nearly £90 on Johnson and kulu already would we want to spend another 50/60M on a RW. Surely Ange’s credibility would have been questioned. As he wanted Johnson and agreed kulu option.

Why would his credibility be questioned? Kulusevski is being adapted into playing centrally and BJ finished with 15 GIs in his first season at 22 years old.

The club will be looking at Johnson as further evidence that Ange knows what he needs and should be trusted. Just because you’ve got your own opinion on Johnson doesn’t mean the club see it the same.

'Whatever we get from here on in is not going to disrupt us too much,' a quote from Ange which I take to mean no major ins or outs just back up's. He might be trying to misdirect but I do not think so.

Possibly but, did fans really expect much in the window.
Every window is the same, much talk of targets, only to end with stop gaps or inferior alternatives.
It's the way the club works so no surprises, I think one more in with 2/3 out.

watched the whole PC, he was actually evasive about incomings and said he doesn't like to speculate but still expects things to happen. This quote about not being too disruptive was more in relation to outgoings.

I took it as another confirmation that Richy isn't going anywhere. I guess they think his body can get back to being reliable.

Bournemouth dropping 50m on a single transfer but Levy still thinks 60m is a marquee signing.

I'm no Levy supporter but I got to defend him here.

60m is definitely a marquee signing number. That he just takes forever to spend 60m to shave off a few quid is another discussion.

Do you think Bournemouth would have dropped 50m on Evanilson if they hadn't sold Solanke? I doubt it.

No obviously the 50m on Evanilson is all Solanke money you are right. My idea was the money they'd already spent was the Solanke money but they have gone again. I'm also legit impressed by their ambition to do that.

I guess what I'm saying is that the game moves so fast and in 2024 Bournemouth with a tiny stadium and almost zero global brand can front up 50m ish for a striker, what is there to stop Spurs who have a huge stadium and hige global brand from being willing to compete for the most expensive deals on the market.?

Fucking brave boy if he goes all in on this squad. Not even sure they will have 18 actual adults available for a match day squad.

Got pumped over most games towards the back end of last season. And have added one senior pro. As I say. Brave Brave Boy is Ange
